Third person's pov. If it was one thing Aiden knew about his mother, it was how clumsy she was. The sedative didn't knock Aiden out the way it was supposed to. It creeped through him slowly, numbing his limbs and blurring the edges of the room. His head lolled to the side as the drug tried to claim him. His breathing slowed and his vision tunneled. Sleep demanded his body but somewhere deeper, Something resisted. Aiden focused on the sensation in his veins. The sedative felt cold, foreign. Wrong. His heart reacted first stuttering once and then beating harder. Pain followed, it wasn't a sharp pain. Heat built in his chest, spreading outward. Clashing violently with the drug. That kind of pain. Then all of a sudden. It was like he was watching a movie play in his head. The screams, the panic. He remembered. ‘Take Aiden! And run!” He heard his father's voice. He tested his wrist gently. The chains didn't budge. “Think Aiden. Don't fight the chains. Fight the drug." He slowe

Ayla's povI stirred on the bed, I was strangely uncomfortable with my sleeping position. I turned right and left and then right till I rolled off the bed. I could have hit my head on the tile flooring but instead I woke up to everything on fire. The pack house, the trees, women, children and men. Shifted wolves burned in their wolf form and by her right lay Killian. “Killian!” I held my gown, the same gown I had worn on my eighteenth birthday and rushed towards him but he was bleeding and his body had gone cold “Killian?" I shook him “Killian wake up!" ‘Everything is going to rumble because of you’ a husky voice in my head. I looked around and how the fire had killed so many people. I turned to my left and there was Clara, laying lifeless beside Ivy. “Noo" I cried out, I looked down at my hands and they were bloody, Killain's blood. Then all of a sudden neck from within. ‘you are an abomination, you don't belong anywhere. You are the reason why innocent lives have to end an

Ayla's povI turned on the news to watch it but turned it off after a few seconds. They did talk about her stuff but it was directed back to me, I was still the one they were looking for. After talking to Aiden that morning, I returned back to the room and Killian was already awake but still processing and making a crucial decision if he gets up from the bed or not. Meanwhile I entered the shower immediately since I barely had the strength to take a shower last night. After approximately four hours all together. I was done, Killian was done and both Ivy and Clara were waiting for us downstairs, including Aiden. The drive back to the police station was rough. I called Tessa and had her arrange a broadcasting meeting right there in the police station and soon everybody was talking about it again. It was funny how the masses believed I could kill Aiden but then again I blamed the hierarchy. It was always as if after fame, everybody just expects you to do the impossible. To do somethi

Third person's pov The news of the fashion tycoon stepping down was apparently everywhere. Ayla had wanted the attention shifted from her but that was not happening anytime soon. Meanwhile Clara had gone off to her private house. Though it didn't take long before Ivy came knocking at her front door. She had one mission when she came here and that was to bring her back home. Ivy could stand for Ayla to have an emotional string to someone pull her back. Choosing one life over another was going to happen anyways. It was just happening now. Happening now for the best. Clara let her into her house and Ivy settled down on the high stool beside the counter as she watched Clara in her kitchen acting busy. “Do you need some herbal tea or something?” Clara asked while rummaging the cupboard above her for the fifth time. “I need you to come home with me,” she replied. Clara sighed heavily. “Well” she set down the cup she brought out from the cupboard in defeat "that's not going to hap

Third person's pov BLOOD MOON PACK After the news of the attempt to assassinate Kallum had spread around the whole pack. Everyone dreaded what he had done to Rowan and became fully aware of the power now emitted from their Alpha. To them Alpha Kallum became more ruthless, more cruel. Though he hadn't raised a war against any pack. He was busy with other things for sure. Other dark things. In his bathroom Kallum closed his eyes. His body was still as he sucked in enough air he needed to hold so he could focus on his thoughts. On the thoughts the Darkforce created for him. In the trance, the world peeled away and he stood in a vast, endless void and power hummed beneath his skin. And in the void was a presence. A presence he had summoned just because he willed it. He could feel Killian and Erebus were right, he was somewhere away from the pack. The human world. With each breath he took, Kallum could sense it as well. As long as they remained, Kallum could feel what he felt a
