บททั้งหมดของ Goodbye, Mr. Ex-Husband, I Won't Come Back: บทที่ 31 - บทที่ 40

TessaI watched him through my peripheral vision as he was taking his time to dim the lights in the room. The sight of his perfectly combed hairs, the stains of my lipstick on his lips, his messed up shirt and his veins popping on hisMy throat dried. The proof of my readiness to succumb to my desires laid between my thighs, the wetness pooling my panties. My core throbbed in the anticipation to feel this handsome stranger doing things to me.The preying look in his eyes was the clear evidence that he’d fuck me like there’s no tomorrow.“Do you want some lubricants or we should do it like old times.” He raised his brow in a sophisticated manner at me once the room had the perfect blend of light and darkness.“No, I don’t think it’s necessary.” I shook my head as I distracted my gaze from his growing bulge, it was visible through his fitted boxers. He seemed impatient as his jaws ticked, so was I but I had more restraints. He knew that I hadn’t had sex in more than a month and my body r

Tessa “Tessa, can we talk..about…last night?”Logan, whom I had been trying my best to avoid since my eyes opened in the morning after an unforgettable night, finally dropped the question.“What do you want to talk about the last night?” I asked coldly.I didn’t know why I snapped because I vividly remember that I was the one who initiated the passionate sex we had. I was embarrassed to admit it because our divorce was knocking at the door.“We slept together, Tessa. Do you really think we can live under the same roof without having a conversation about that?” He looked up, looking slightly disappointed.“Think of last night something we both wanted. I admit that I was the one to initiate it but we haven’t done it in last one month so just see it as something fun we did together. We gave in and if you want, I am ready to take the full responsibility.” I tried to make it sound like a casual conversation. It seemed like something snapped inside Logan who was usually a patient man, his

Logan“What do you mean you can’t divorce Tessa now?”“Ray, please. Let me explain. I want to postpone the divorce, not cancel it. Please, try to understand.” I tried my best to be careful with my words but a crying Raelynn and her pain was challenging me.“Come on, Logan. Why couldn’t I see this coming? She’s your wife, Lucas is comfortable with her. What else do you want?” She yelled again and this time she threw a flower vase which shattered into pieces with a loud sound. She crumbled on the floor and cried hysterically. My heart constricted with uneasiness seeing her devastated condition.Unintentionally but I hurt her.Kneeling down on the floor, I wiped her tears but she shoved my hands away.“Don’t touch me.” She spatted bitterly.“Ray, the divorce would have happened if my father hadn’t fallen sick. I can’t lose him and stressing him at this time means putting his life in risk. You need to understand.” I said softly this time.“I love you so much, Logan. I have waited for year

TessaLucas had slept a while ago as he was tired after practicing for one last time before the gala. Logan hadn’t returned home yet. I wanted to call him but refrained myself because the awkwardness between us was still there.I worked on few more sketches. Since Kevin suffered a heart attack, I hadn’t chance to discuss with Logan about our divorce. I knew that the papers were ready and only needed our signatures and then approval from the court. So, I decided to wait for him. The clock struck ten thirty in the night. My wait finally came to an end when I heard his car entering the compound. A few minutes later, he entered into the silent living room. He looked exhausted and again he didn’t even spare me a glance and moved towards his room.I had enough of his ignorance.“Logan, we need to talk.” I said in straight manner. He halted in his track and I heard him sigh.“Tessa, it’s very late. I think you should go back to your room.” He said in a flat tone.I’d not lie, it pinched my h

Tessa“Does your husband know that you’re here?”Ruby, who poured wine in my glass, asked me the question that I wanted to avoid.“If things were good between us then I wasn’t sitting in your patio and drinking.” I chuckled dryly.“That’s a valid reason. Don’t worry, girl. We won’t discuss your tragic married life this evening. We can drink and remember old times. We don’t get enough time for ourselves, Tess.” She said occupying the opposite couch and sipped her wine.“I really don’t remember much of our old life, Ruby. For last three years, I devoted myself raising Lucas and now, I got chance to reflect on my life.” I replied with honesty.“Since, your divorce isn’t happening anytime soon, I advise you to start working.” She suggested.“Logan will create drama if he finds out that I have planned to work in Adrian’s company and I want peace in my life for now.” I leaned back on the chair and closed my eyes.Tiredness consumed me as the mild alcohol kicked into my system.“Tessa, Logan
