I looked at Adrian and the sparkle in his eyes, well, why not? So I grabbed some cans of beers and turned off the light before jumping into bed beside him, he pulled me close and kissed me on the lips before I could say or do anything. I pushed him away and pretended to be busy opening my can of beer but I was actually hiding my blush. How does he do that? Kiss me whenever he wants like we are a couple when we are not, in fact I don’t even know what we are but all I know is that, Adrian kisses me whenever and wherever he wants. The movie that was playing was Hancork, it’s an interesting movie especially if you love superhero movies. Christy had claimed the popcorn and she refused to share, Adrian took a beer from me and we relaxed and enjoyed the movie.Minutes into the movie, I could feel a hand tracing my back and when I looked at him, he had all his attention on the movie. I returned my gaze to the television but he did it again. I looked at him once more but he was watching the mo

I glanced sharply at Adrian when I heard her word, what does she mean? Did he ask her to the dance? I thought he asked me? What does she mean by when they dance on the dance floor?Seeing the look in my eyes, Adrian turned to her and removed her hands that were circling his neck. He pushed her back a little, “I don’t know what you are talking about Stacy, I didn’t ask you to the dance.”Stacy waved him off, “oh come Adrian, you never asks me to any dance but we always go together, everybody knows that so why is this one different?”“This one is different because I already asked someone and it will be unjust to her if you continue acting like this.”“You asked someone?” She shrieked and her girls, Arianna and Mavis gasped, “who, who did you ask? You tell me who she is right now!” She demanded.“Why should I? You will see on Wednesday after all,” Adrian replied.“Tell me who she is, I want to know,” Stacy insisted.I didn’t know what came over me but I actually held my head high and sai

In the box in my hand was a pair of silver shoes, I looked up at him in shock and he scratched his head. “I wanted to give you something as a thank you for agreeing to go with me to the dance, even though we had a deal that I will leave you alone for seven days,” he rolled his eyes, and that made me chuckle. “but when I saw this on Saturday night, I only thought of you so I got it. I wanted to give it to you on Sunday but I didn’t know how you are going to react so I said on Monday but ended up saying today. I would have postponed it again if not that tomorrow is the dance and I really want you to wear it to the dance,” he licked his lips, “do you like it?”I looked down at the beautiful shoes, I couldn’t believe my eyes, I brought one half out and looked at it, it glistened with the light and reminded me of the sparkles on my dress, it would go well with it. Something on the heel brought my eyes to it and it was a logo I know all too well, a logo that I know he was obsessed with, Lou

I can’t wait to show you off! Did you hear that? He can’t wait to show us off! My subconscious rambled in my mind, technically, he said he can’t wait to show me off, not us. I corrected her and she rolled her eyes at me, duh? I’m you, remember? Oh yeah, that is correct, I often forget that since she often challenges my thought like another human.“Penny for your thought?” Adrian asked and I glanced at him, our eyes met briefly and he returned his to the road.“Nothing much, I’m just,” I sighed, “nervous, I guess.”“Nervous? Why Pigeon, whatever in the world that would be making you nervous.”“Mostly because this is the first time I’m going to a school dance?” I felt his gaze on me and I looked at him.“What happened, no guy ever asked you?”“That should be I never gave them the chance to. I tend to chase them away before they could even get close to me,” I heaved a sigh, licking my lips.Adrian nodded, his gaze still on the road. I could see the school coming into view. “Still have th

“Penny for your thought?” I asked Adrian, he just smiled and shook his head softly. I wanted so badly for him to tell me not to mind what Stacy said, not to listen to her and that he would never do such a thing to me but he didn’t, he didn’t even bring it up. I had to calm my racing heart internally, maybe he felt there was no need to since he won’t be doing it. Maybe he believes that showing me his true intention would be better than exchanging words with girls. Ah I have lost it, now I’m finding excuses for him.“Earth to pigeon,” he whispered.I forced a smile, “I should be saying that to you.”“Really? You are the one who didn’t hear what I said to you just now.”“You said earth to pigeon.”He shook his head and smiled, “before that.”I frowned, I didn’t hear anything else before that, “what is it?”“I asked how would you feel about going for a walk?”“Oh,” I smiled, “I would love to.”Adrian took my hand and led me out of the gymnasium, we walked in the direction of the school fi
