บททั้งหมดของ The Alpha Who Left Me Pregnant: บทที่ 51 - บทที่ 60

Orion sent a text saying that he would come to pick up Kael the following morning so they could start self-defense training. That meant I would have most of the day free, giving me time to look for a car. The rental company had already emailed me another bill for the coming week, and the cost was becoming ridiculous. A small part of me wished I had kept the car Travis gave me, but it was probably better to completely cut that connection. There was no reason to keep dealing with him when I didn’t have to.Not only would owning a car be cheaper, but I also needed one. Kael would be turning fifteen in just a few weeks, and he would want to get his learner’s permit. He definitely couldn’t learn to drive in a rental car. Since we would be staying in Pinecrest Valley for the rest of the summer, maybe even longer, it made sense to handle it as soon as possible.Orion showed up a little after ten the next morning, and Kael was already prepared to leave. In fact, he was almost vibrating with e

As I walked around the corner, I saw the thing that had scared Selene so much, and I immediately stopped. My mouth fell open. Blood was everywhere. A huge pool of blood sat right behind her back door, enough to make it look like a full-grown rabbit or a large bird had completely lost all its blood there.Dark red drops were spread across her door and scattered down the steps leading into the backyard.“What the fuck,” I quietly said to myself.I slowly walked forward and followed the trail of blood until I was about fifteen feet away from the porch steps. I knelt down and touched a blade of grass, rubbing the blood on it with my fingers. The blood felt sticky and was almost dry, but not fully. If I had to guess, it had probably been there for less than an hour.I pulled out my phone and called Jaxon again.“Where the hell are you?” I demanded.“I’ll be at Selene’s place in five minutes. I’m driving as fast as I can, I promise.”I let out a growl while continuing to scan the nearby woo

“Orion,” she said with frustration in her voice. “I’m not going to let you sleep outside. I have a guest room. There is not a bed in there because Grandma used it as her sewing room, but you can put your sleeping bag there. I’m old enough to understand what I’m asking, okay?”“Fair enough,” I said. “I’ll go get my things.”“I’ll even be nice enough to get you a pillow,” she said while I walked toward the front door.I laughed and winked at her. “This is really a five-star hotel you have here.”“We do our best.”After I dropped my things in the guest room, I walked into the dining room and joined Kael.“Hey, buddy,” I said. “Since we canceled your training today, do you want to go into the backyard and practice a few things before dinner?”Kael quickly looked up with his mouth full of taco, excitement all over his face.“Hell, yeah.”“Elara, is that okay with you?” I asked while she picked up a taco.“I’m okay with it. I’ll make you guys a good dinner when you finish.”She looked down

Whether it was five minutes or five hours later, only God knew how long it really had been. Orion's chest started trembling as his breathing became rough, and his hands held tightly. His fingers grabbed me like a drowning man holding onto something that could save him.“I’m gonna come,” he moaned softly, trying to keep his voice quiet.I wrapped my legs around his waist and pulled him deeper. “Come for me. I want to feel you come inside me.”“Oh, God,” he said, barely stopping his voice from becoming loud.He groaned and moaned while pushing his hips against me. I felt his cock jerk and twitch as he came. After thrusting a few more times, he finally dropped on top of me, breathing hard like he had just run a marathon. I was breathing heavily too, and I gently moved my hands across his broad back with love.As if we were in a dream, we slowly moved apart, cleaned ourselves up, and then lay back in bed. Orion looked at me while I rested on the pillow, my eyes already starting to close.

As I drove up the long driveway to the alpha house and saw what was waiting for me, I let out a groan.“Well, shit,” I whispered.Around twelve cars were parked near the house and across the grass in my yard.People stood around in front of the closed garage door, waiting for me to get there. Every one of them was a pack member. Some I knew immediately, while others I only knew from seeing them around or from when I was younger. There were business owners and pack members who needed financial help. There was only one reason they could all be here. Before I even stepped out of the truck, they started throwing questions at me.“Is the pack not paying for electricity anymore?”“I got a shut-off notice yesterday, Orion.”“I can’t afford to pay these utility bills. It’s not part of my budget. The pack accounts always took care of this.”“Are we all getting abandoned?”I lifted my hands to calm everyone down.“Can everyone please wait for a second?”Since the Blackthorne family had owned th
