Lucas’s pov. I heaved a sigh of exasperation , giving Emery one last look before I followed others to leave the room . Everything is happening fast, and I don’t know if I’m thinking straight. Lucas’s pov. I woke up this morning, my mind still obsessing over the fact that Emery is actually pregnant. I slept thinking about it and I still woke up thinking about it . It’s as if my thoughts have been waiting for me to open my eyes . I looked up to my ceiling , thinking of what to do next , and trying to connect the dots. My mind keeps racing with thoughts. Emery’s pov. The shock of the unexpected menacing interruption from Brielle disoriented me for a few minutes. My breath caught, my pulse raced. CHAPTER THIRTY SIX . Emery’s pov. “I brought you lunch,” Austin grinned as he placed the snack bag on my desk.
