Chapter 32Jenna's POV "Stay back, shıthead!" Kalen trusted a hand against his chest. "K-kalen, she's trying to cause a rift b-between us because I e-exposed her—" "Exposed me? Ha, all you did was ruin my marriage. You turned my husband against me and got me kicked out so I won't be a Luna anymore. You knew after my delivery I was going to expose you. That's why you did it." I clenched my jaw hard. "Okay, let's assume I'm causing a rift between your family. I will only do it with words and words can be false. What about this document!" I opened my gallery and clicked the fake abortion report, "Documents can't be false. It's clearly visible here that Monica had an abortion two weeks ago. This is exactly the time when she lied about going camping with friends. Except that she never went camping. She went to a hospital with you so you could secretly get her abortion done.""THAT'S A LIE! That report is fake." Henry yelled. "Kalen, Kalen, trust me. This report is fake.""IT'S NOT FAKE

Chapter 34Jenna's POV He excused this matter and said he could leave. Chris bowed in respect and turned. Before he stepped out, he warned me on the link again, 'I was humiliated because of you today, Jenna. I won't let this slide. You will pay for this.''Let's see who will pay first, Chris. I'm not going anywhere, neither are you.' Fury bristled in his eyes. "Alpha Chris, don't leave already." Jace announced just as Shane returned. "Your Highness, I would like to close the matter as is. There's nothing to investigate. Even Henry's daughter claims the same thing... Her father confessed to molesting her stepdaughter before he was killed. Kalen is innocent. I'm gonna let him go." Shane stated. "Right decision on your part, Alpha Shane. I appreciate it. Kalen did what any other father would do. You and I would have done the same if it happened to our daughters.""Right. But there's something I want to demand from Alpha Chris," Shane looked at him as his gaze turned salty. "The bastå

Chapter 36Jenna's POVAt night,"Jenna, darling, what happened between you and Jace. I heard you guys were so happy when you came back. Why were you both ignoring each other on the dining table?" Mom asked me as I finished covering Jared with a blanket in his cot."Mom, there's nothing like that.""It's about Liza, isn't it?" She was evaluating my face for better understanding."No, it's not-""I'm the old Luna Queen, remember? Maids don't lie to me." She smiled threateningly and I bit my lips. "So it's her.""Yes," I told her everything without looking at her. When I finished, I thought she would also say I overreacted, but she hissed infuriatedly and clenched her jaw."I knew that girl is trouble when she was brought here.""Mom? She's your niece. You're not serious, are you?""Jenna, my family was horrible to me. Especially Liza's parents." She closed the window first before she sat in front of me on bed and resumed, "They were mean and I actually faced bullying in their hands.""

Chapter 38Jace's POV My eyes were affixed on his irritating face when Oakley informed me on the mind link, 'All the guests on the lists are here, Jace.''Okay. Thanks, Oakley. What about Jenna? Is she ready?''Yeah, I just got word from Pluto that she's waiting to make her entry with Jared, though he's being very whiny and grumpy today.' I sighed helplessly. Jared's grumpy mood can be very intimidating. When he's in that mood, he either just wants to stay in Jenna or mom's arms, or just be left alone on the floor so he can crawl around. It's definitely the latter because since morning, everyone has been carrying him around. He got very little play time today. I'm certain Jenna will find a way out to handle him. I focused on the crowd in front of me. We were in the grand hall of the castle. It was specifically designed for such balls. The pillars were decorated with scented flowers and gypsies. The chandelier was illuminating with hundreds of candles in it. The room was cool as b

Chapter 40Jenna's POVMy skin was cold in the hot corridor. I was composed on the surface, deep inside my heart was hammering against my bręastbone. I had waited months for this meeting. I imagined this night while going to bed so many times. But now as I waited in the corridor outside the grand hall, Pluto by my side, I was shaking. Jared was making everything tougher for me. "Jared, baby, what do you want? Your Mamma honestly can't tell why you're so grumpy right now." I watched his face as he pouted and cried the same old 'mum mum mum' song he cries when he's not in a good mood. "Luna, maybe I can take him out to the gardens for a quick stroll." Pluto came closer to touch Jared's hair. He screeched loudly, making Pluto flinch back. "I don't think he wants to go. But that's the problem... What exactly does he want then?"Pluto didn't get to guess as I heard Oakley's voice on the mind link. He was asking me to be ready. Jace was sharing our story. This was his idea. He decided
