Alpha King's Prankster Mate

"Mom no don't do this, mom please please" My 18 year old brother ,Noha begging our mother to stop while crying. 

I am still in shock after seeing my mother holding a knife to her throat . Noha is standing beside me trying to stop our mother but she is not paying any attention as if she is possessed , as if not a single word is reaching her ears. 

A droplet rolled down on my cheek . Until now I did not know I was crying. She is my backbone, my strength, my best friend,my mother. 

Finally I got my voice back " Mom please stop we need you, we can not stay without you we already lost dad we cannot lose you".

My mom is the most outgoing, confident, sweet and kindhearted person. She does not believe in giving up on life.

 But what an irony the same  person is taking her own life because her mate died in a rough attack to save his alpha four months ago. After my father died, it was a big blow to our family.Mom did not take it well.Mom had distanced herself from others and only stayed strong for us. But today it seems nothing is left to fight for her. 

As if my words finally reach her ears that bring her out of trace. 

"No, baby I cannot do this anymore. I have tried very hard  very hard but I cannot take this pain anymore." She is crying hard now.Tears are flowing down uncontrollably. 

Mate bonds are very strong if one dies, others are forced to die if they try to fight with it ,it only causes more pain , second chance mate is very rare. Sometimes

 they survive if the person is strong enough.

"Mom please  don't do this ple-".

"Baby girl Noha is there to look after,he will protect you from the evil world" her eyes held sadness , she is completely broken. 

"Mom I cannot do this alone, Alex needs you, I need you mom. You cannot do this to us please mom please".

" You can do this my son, take care of your little sister" .

With the last droplet from her eyes she slit her throat in front of her children. 

My knees feel weak if Noah isn't holding me my legs would have given up. I ran to my mother's body lying limb on the floor in a puddle of blood. Unable to hold my tears I burst into tears on my brother's shoulder who was also crying praying somehow she can come back to our lives. 

It felt like hours after we stopped crying but she never came back. She takes her in front of her 18 year old son who has just taken the duties of beta as our father died and on the birthday of her 14 year old daughter.

From the day onwards I vowed I will not let any mate bond or mate make me weak. Even if I have to reject my mate then I will.
