One would think her humorous tales were just for laughs or to pad the word count, but by the conclusion, it became evident that she was laying out foreshadows throughout. While working on her first novel, "Mizzy" also wrote several short pieces, each around two thousand words, which she simultaneously published on ScribeSphere and shared on social media platforms. These bite-sized stories, light-hearted and humorous in tone, could be devoured in mere minutes. Their appeal was evident when they were repeatedly shared across platforms, gaining her a good number of followers. However, many read her short stories without noting the author behind them, completely unaware of "Mizzy."

Opening my phone, I type out the perfect text. -Hey! How are you?- Faith. I’m a literary genius, clearly. I groan, disappointed with my conversation starting skills as I wait for a text message to come through. Three very long and disappointing minutes pass and I decide reading makes time move much faster than staring at the device I’m basically begging to ding. I pick up my romance novel and immediately I’m sucked in. A dashing prince is racing against time to grab the magic tears of the moon so he can turn his beloved into her human form so they can finally be together.

“Then maybe that’s your answer.” Later that night, Ryan stood by his window. The streetlights blurred in the distance. His inbox pinged again a reply from L. Tansey, offering a call. He didn’t answer yet. Instead, he opened a blank page. And he typed: “A Story That Doesn’t Belong To You” by Ryan Calloway He stared at the title for a long moment. Then under it, he wrote: “This isn’t a story about revenge. It’s about reclaiming.” Two weeks later.

Veronica exclaimed. "We don't need to hurry. We have plenty of time left." I said, "I take only 20 minutes to dress!" Everything stopped and they gasped like I said the worse thing in the whole world. "What?!" I said, "I do." "Oh no, you did not just - I mean, really??" Minerva said. He knew it was eleven minutes because he checked the time when he sat down and checked it once more because he was who he was, and the interval between the two checks was eleven minutes, which was the length of a board call that wasn't going well and also the length of his shortest recent morning briefing and also, it turned out, the length of time it took him to drink a third of a very good Malbec. Eleven minutes was not a long time. In the normal course of his life, eleven minutes passed without his noticing—the interval between one meeting and the next, the time it took to review a document, the duration of a phone call that he would forget as soon as he hung up. Until now, strange short stories had only very short stories. But from volume two I intend to add stories that have 10 to 20 captains as well. These stories are not so long nor have so much visibility as a separated book. For this reason, I decided to move all then into strange short stories, that is already a storybook of different themes.
