The day our family went on vacation to an island resort, my younger sister, Alana Fisher, climbed over a safety railing to get the perfect photo. She lost her footing and, in her panic, dragged me into the ocean with her. The rescue crew was about to pull me out first since I was closer when Mom suddenly took a yellowed paper coupon from her wallet and tossed it toward me. When I was seven, I couldn't afford birthday presents for my parents, so I drew a hundred wish coupons by hand. Each one read: [Redeem this coupon for one wish. Beatrice asked. “Uh… Let’s talk about this next year!” Beatrice nodded. “True. Speaking of which, it’s going to be New Years’ soon.” Alex’s heart skipped a beat. “Do you have a wish? You can make a wish from me!” “Huh?” Beatrice was taken aback. “Make a wish from you? It’s not like you’re a god or anything.” Then, her face flushed. At this moment, Alex could feel a beam of golden light, which was wish power entering his golden core.

“If you have a wish in life, you can make it every time a plane flies by. If you make the wish a hundred times, it will come true.“ Carter nodded in understanding. “So, mommy, what is your wish? A small gasp escaped my lips when I sighted something move really fast in the sky. Oh my God! It's a shooting star! I stared at it in awe, it was so beautiful. 'Make a wish' Closing my eyes I took in a deep breath. "I-I wish.. i would finally be happy for once in my life." Opening my eyes, I watched as the star moved pass me. I closed my eyes and smiled, feeling like things are going to be okay for me. I would finally be happy.

I managed to say, wagging my head, and mimicking the usual way he calls me. He chuckled, "I'll send my wishes and gifts by morning. It's time to go!" He kissed my cheek again, and withdrew slowly from me. With that, he got into his car and drove off. I sighed in relief and signaled at the driver to take me home, i've gotten enough for the day, and it was already getting dark outside.

Jenny became speechless, she sighed and eased her expression "As I said earlier, we all want to wish as soon as the clock shows the 12, but we can't because only Arjuna has the right to wish you first of all...
