The Wolfing of Roger Willis

The Wolfing of Roger Willis

I’m kind of scared that it’s already starting to make a home inside my head. I got to literature and Mrs. Whitmore, our teacher who was evidently pregnant by the huge bump in her belly, began talking about the popular genres of literature in the twentieth century. One of them was the explosion of the werewolf fiction which I learned was portrayed in modern period with overflowing romanticism unlike its predecessor way back in the medieval era where it’s portrayed as horrifying. I couldn’t stop internally laughing at the thought that werewolves are romantic. Based on what I’ve seen so far, there’s clearly nothing romantic about turning into a beast. There’s absolutely nothing romantic about b

Forever in the Past and Forever in the Future

Forever in the Past and Forever in the Future

It's another picture of Tessa wearing a poodle skirt. “When was this one taken?” I scrutinize it carefully. She looks exactly the same. “Nineteen fifty-four. Next picture,” she flips the page for me again to display a picture of Tessa wearing a flapper style dress. “This one is nineteen twenty-five.” I look at the picture, trying to process it in my mind. How can she look the same age in so many decades? “She can’t be a vampire. Can she? She doesn’t smell like one,” I look up Musu questioningly.

I just finished Book 2 and it was wonderful! So many emotions to work through and so devastated by the death of a beloved character T-T (no direct Spoiler). So excited to read the next book in the Blood River Universe AND Book 3 of Kas and Bronx’s story. <3

I started mindlessly, thinking it was cute. But it turns out to be WAAAAY better than that. The story is well written, the plot is riveting, and the characters are so genuinely full of life, it is a bliss to read through. This masterpiece has everything of a best-seller! ...️

A Vampire's Witch

Willow stared at him for awhile as he kept his eyes away. "Is there something I can do? Get you water or...?" Willow paused. She was throwing options out there, but Dante was no ordinary being. He is a Vampire. She had very little knowledge of the creatures, which was her fault for not being as prepared to possibly deal with them, but how would she have known she would be in the same room as one?

Vampires and Werewolves (Book 3 Tugurlan Chronicles)

Vampires and Werewolves (Book 3 Tugurlan Chronicles)

In return, Mervin did Gyozo’s bidding without question. Mervin came from a long line of alchemists who’d serviced the vampires through history. It wasn’t until the start of the twentieth century that his ancestors ceased to be called upon for their magic. His grandmother attributed it to the fact that vampires were forced to go underground after man developed sophisticated means of communication and transportation. Man’s ability to gather, hunt, and share information to faraway places with speed and ease made it dangerous for the vampire, who was forced to remain vulnerable in the light of day. For the sake of survival, a new code of conduct was distributed amongst the vampires, while ex

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

For centuries, the vampires had been shaping the place to suit their needs. Marcio had been a vampire for almost four hundred years. He had been transformed in his early twenties back in Italy, and for several centuries had been content to hunt the Italian countryside, with occasional forays into the neighboring countries to the north. He had come to America early in the twentieth century when a need for adventure caused him to take passage aboard the ill-fated Titanic. When the ship went down, he simply swam west until he reached land. He had roamed New England alone for a few decades before falling in with the coven just after World War Two, when America’s increased military might and wide

A Vampire's Mark

A Vampire's Mark

“It is too dark for me, especially for someone like me who prefers the opposite.” “That must be pretty hard living with.” She inhales sharply. “I do the opposite of everything. I let animals free during hunting, I don't like drinking blood, and I hate attending the gothic parties. I could on and on.” “I'm so sorry you have to live with this, but trust we are not much different. I just discovered I'm a vampire with a very bad blood lust and so much more I'm yet to comprehend.” We walked to the windows at the end of the hallway, looking out at the village. We watch outside in silence for a bit.

Vamp Invasion

Devin sighed and gave me a pity look. “He’ll come around.” He assured me. “In the meantime, it’s a beautiful day and the sun is up. You wanna go for a walk?” he asked and shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal, only if he knew what he just did. He just invited a vampire for a walk, in the sun. Good thing I’m a day lighter. “Sure.” I said and stood up from the chair I was seated. “So, what do you wanna talk about?” He asked swinging his arms beside him while staring at my face making me a little more uncomfortable than I already am.

The Vampire Chronicles

The Vampire Chronicles

"You can't possibly be a werewolf or a vampire right? That shit only exists in movies. Not in real life" "You can't say that, Bella" "Why? I'm right about….." He interrupted me before I could finish my words "I'm a vampire" For a minute, I was silent. It was as if a cold bucket of water was dropped on me. "A what?" I asked. "A vampire, Bella" "That isn't possible" "You’ve seen me in my real form twice. Stop trying to find other explanations for what you saw" My suspicion was finally right. I knew from what I saw at my bathtub that he looked like how vampires have been described but I didn't want to believe he was actually that.

Vampire's Love

Vampire's Love

I folded my hands across my chest and frowned at him in both confusion and annoyance. "Stop-just-" Alex huffed in frustration before covering his face with his hands and letting out a sigh in exasperation. I was about to say something else too but stopped when I heard a few girls groan and my eyes snapped towards the crowd. I noticed Joey, Franklin, danny and other vampires digging their fangs into the girls neck, sucking them hungrily and I could feel my eyes widening at the sight. They were doing it in public? Why? It was already getting dark, we were supposed to go home.
