Winston stood up as he spoke and ten of the alphas followed him, leaving the room one by one. Only five alphas stayed behind. “As I expected,” I muttered. Chris pushed a file on the smooth surface, and it reached my spot. My gaze dropped on the file. I knitted my eyebrows as I picked the file, then looked at Chris, his bluish eyes locking with mine. “These are the things we will need to prevent this war,” Chris said. “Do I get that the five of you are in?” I asked, and they looked at each other before nodding.

They were mine and I was theirs. My alphas. And my Beta.

Respect your fucking Alpha. Ugh.

She needed the identity of those Alphas. "You are right. The documents should be in father's study. Let's check them out." As soon as they got to the study, Godiva broke down in tears. She could feel her father's presence heavily because he spent a lot of time there. It wasn't long for Theresa to locate the documents. From the way they were kept in the drawer beside his desk, there was great importance attached to it from everything else. Godiva's last bit of hope began to dwindle when Theresa read the names; "Alpha Alonso, Alpha Storm, Alpha Bond, Alpha Brick, Alpha Caesar, Alpha Jax and Alpha Ice. They are just as fierce as their name sounds."

The strange man chuckled. "This is Tim," Alpha Ryan began, "he's not a foe, he's a friend from the city and these are his vehicles, he's here to help. It helps us travel faster." Many members of the pack had no clue on the modern world that humans lived in so it was not a surprise we couldn't figure these things out. We shifted and awaited the Alpha's orders. "Mark, Glow, Dian, lead the pups into the second Jeep. High ranks into the third and fourth, pack members, fill the rest, and Omegas take the last vehicles." He ordered some of his warrior wolves.

I said and he tilted his head. “Do you think the other mark was made by her mate?” I asked and he nodded. “Plausibly so, especially since the mark was made by an Alpha” I told him and he gasped. “What? An Alpha? How can you tell?” He asked. “Alpha marks tend To be bigger than marks made by other wolves” I told him and he nodded slowly. “You remember when she unknowingly cried at the hospital? I felt the strength of her wolf, the strength of a Luna but it was gone so quickly that I thought I had imagined it” He said and I nodded because I had felt it too.

Allie felt jittery all day, unable to distract herself from classes now that she's on break and not knowing what to do. Nate asked her to spend his rut. Alphas tended to enjoy their ruts very much, counting down the days until they could get off work and spend the next few days with omega to satisfy their needs.

Lina sighed in defeat, though she couldn't hide the smile on lips. A low scoff had my eyes pulled towards the owner. The brunette met my eyes while raising his brow on me. It was the first time I really took in his features, I wonder what his name is. I always saw them collectively together which I assume they must have been really close with each other. I squinted my eyes towards him, assessing him before my eyes bulged. He's a Beta. But how can he produce that much aura which could go in par with an Alpha?
