36 Hours Book Novels & Stories

I think I spent some time reading the book, and I almost forgot I was waiting for Gladimir to return. It was when I got to the second to the last chapter, I remembered that I was waiting for Gladmir. I glanced at my wristwatch, and I was shocked at how fast time had passed. It was about four hours already. ‘I had just spent four hours reading a book’ I frowned. I stared back at the book. When I was done with the book, I glanced at my wristwatch, I had already spent an extra hour. I ran out of patience, I couldn't wait for him any longer.

“Holy shite!” I spent the next hour going through page by page. However, it seemed that the book always managed to place a new page at the back as soon as I finished reading one page because I’d never gotten through the book despite the five hours of sleep that I’d foregone. Right before the breaks of dawn, I reached an interesting page filled with names.

And oh, I had no idea how bad my burn is going to be. ************** MONDAY My eyes flickered from the book in my hand to the clock hanging on the wall across from me. I sucked into a deep breath of air and turned my attention back to my book. Three hours later and I repeated the same exact action, noticing that the time has only increased three freaking minutes.

Vincent looked up at him innocently, "But Pepper Pig has 195 episodes. I haven't watched all of it." Ambrose paused. "Okay, we shall go with The Brief History of Time." With that, Ambrose started to read from the e-book on his phone. The story must've done its job as Vincent fell asleep in a blink of an eye. … The next morning, Larissa awoke from her sleep. She was met with Ambrose walking ahead, looking extremely refreshed. Meanwhile, Vincent followed behind, looking incredibly worn out. The moment Vincent saw Larissa, he dashed toward her with a face full of grievance. "Mommy, I missed you so much!"

She instructed and left them all by themselves. “Let’s get started,” Chance sighed. Since they were still on training, they had a few days of day duty before a full 24 hour shift. They needed to learn every skill that was useful from day 1. It’s only been two months since their internship began, so they were quite new to this whole thing, and not just the ER department.

The captain took his quill, dipped it in ink, opened the old black leather book on the table, and added at the end of the first page: It is forbidden to make children or scholars on the boat study less than 4 hours or more than 6 hours a day, or on holidays. It was only on the next evening that Bia took time to read the second page of the book. For one, she read very slowly at the time and for another she had spent the last evening celebrating her victory. But that evening when she began to read, she found it all só facianting that she did not stop until the book was over.

After Jared got discharged, Daphne said she needed a break and asked Pierce to take her and Jared on a beach trip. The three of them booked the first flight out and headed straight to an island resort overseas, staying there for over two weeks. Pierce lay back on a beach chair, staring at the waves, distracted. Lucia and Ellie kept creeping into his head. He unlocked his phone over and over. Still nothing. No texts. No missed calls. The silence felt wrong.

I said to him. I had never been in the same room with my driver for this long, we had never had a conversation this long before but it was wonderful, he was brilliant and he knew how to keep the conversation going. "We have been talking for an hour and you have only made it halfway through the bag of fluids," HE said. "The primary fluid bag is so slow it takes forever," I said and stared at it, each drop seemed annoyingly slower than the last.

Ever. “All right.” Bram holds his hands up and begins to back away to the adjoining door “I just heard you screaming and wanted to make sure you were ok, is all.” He reaches the door and pauses before he turns around. “We leave in an hour, Swift.” Thankful that Bram didn’t ask any more questions, I drop onto the bed and huff out. Whenever I have that dream it seems to zap me of all my energy. It’s as if I relive the whole night once again.

"Won't this take a longer period, than the first idea of you, selecting by yourself?" "I doubt so. If I select by myself, I will want to take my time, so there will be no mistake. Taking my time means it will exceed 40 hours, and there is not enough duration right now, roughly 25 hours left." His lips twisted into a frown, but her reason seemed plus-able. After-all, he was the one who was going to be spending days with her, and he needed someone bearable.
