She said, standing up my eyes wide too shocked to even utter a single word as I looked at the books under the desk that she was talking about. Each book was like a bible, probably having more than a thousand pages and I had to read twenty of them in twenty-four hours. My head was already throbbing as Elizabeth closed the door behind her, my body slumping against the chair, all the excitement of working gone leaving nothing but dread. Only pleasure. My hand grazed the bruises blooming faintly on her hips. I’ll kiss every one of them better when you wake up. I stood, pulling on my pants and letting my eyes roam the chaos we left behind. Desk? Flipped. Books? Scattered. The wall? ...Definitely going to need repairs.
