7 Hours 소설 & 이야기

My words were slow, and the sentence seemed to stop time because it took so long to say. Jamison didn't answer, and I wondered how long he could let blood flow to his head before he did permanent damage. Ethan stared at Carson as though he held all the answers. So, I too turned my attention toward Carson, raised my brows, and leaned forward to wait on his response. It took monumental effort as heavy as my body felt, but it was a good weight-solid. Grounded and stable. Carson shrugged and took a sip of water. "I don't know...six or seven hours, maybe eight if it's good."

I read it. It took approximately twelve seconds to read, which was the amount of time it took to register the two categories and the two time windows and the brief, clean sentence at the bottom that said please observe scheduled hours to support the household's morning routines. The document was brief. It said what it needed to say in the compact, unornamented language of someone who had thought carefully about what words to include and had included only those. His hours: seven to eight. Mine: nine to ten.

My dreams. The next thing I know. An alarm is beeping. “What time is it?” I ask groggily. But no one answers. I go to switch off the alarm and the clock reads 14:00. The door opens, and light from the hallway brightens up the room. Carson walks in with a mug in his hand. “Seven hours. I’ve slept for 7 hours.” I said in shock. I haven’t slept that long for a long time.

Henry continues and then looked at the nurse who was pushing his wheelchair. "Please take care of her!" He said and then quickly move back to the main door of the hospital where he park his car. Emma wanted Henry back at her side but it's too late for her because he was already outside. And then he drove back to their house shaking in worries about her wife and with the very bad weather at that moment. "Honnnneyyy!" Loud scream of Emma while trying to call for his husband who was driving his way to their house. "HEEENNNNRY!" Another scream from Emma who was at the labor room bringing out his son in the world.

He watched the profiler and the wolf and the woman who had decided she was done being caught between worlds all arrive at the same place simultaneously behind those steady green eyes. "We have seven hours," she said. "And I think we should use them.”

Daniel nodded as if he had expected that. “Forty-eight to seventy-two hours is a lot of hours.” I gave a weak laugh. “It is.” “How many exactly?” “Forty-eight to seventy-two.” He gave me a look. “Mom.” Lucian’s mouth twitched. I sighed. “Two to three days.” Daniel considered this with the grave seriousness of a person negotiating with time itself. “That’s not fair.” “No.” “They should have a faster machine.” “I agree.” “Or a truth button.”

“I’m sorry for the turbulence. What should I… “It’s ok. You can leave” Alex said rubbing his wife's back. “When are we landing Alex?” She asked for Alex to smile. “We still have seven hours to go,” he said for Hazel to look at him. “I’m sorry, it’s an eleven-hour flight,” he said for Hazel to sigh. She frowned as she didn’t find the urge to puke when Alex was with her. “I don’t feel like… “Puking?” Alex asks Hazel to nod.

she asked curiously not capitalizing the word. "Well I mean I've only known her seven hours", he paused turned to look at the time on his watch nodded, and then said, "Correction: I've only known her six hours", he turned to Ash, "Which makes it officially twenty-seven hours that I've been awake", he yawned sleepily. Ash stared at him shocked, "Which explains why you fell asleep a few seconds ago", he paused, "Hang on, TWENTY SEVEN HOURS!" he shrieked, "What the hell? What time did you wake up?" he asked practically screeching.

He raised his hand as if he wanted to hug Candice, but hesitated and ended up repeatedly sighing about how time flies. Candice looked at his face and said without much emotion, "It only takes two hours to fly from Solaris to Dorrington." She looked at Henry with pursed lips.

Yes, that's close enough. And to know that her eyes still light up, the same way they did when we started connecting, fills my heart with utmost joy. She should have forgotten me by now, but no, she hasn't. The planned hour to two, with Ava, has increased and I'm pretty sure, that we have reached 4 hours. Reece seemed to get lost in the time, more than I did and I saw a different Reece, altogether. Playful, more gentle and just dad like, that's who I saw come out of Reece.
