Eddie couldn't talk, she was surprised and couldn't process her thoughts. When he got to her, he moved closer to her, closer than Eddie could have imagined. Then he placed his large palm on her forehead. “Your temperature is fine, are you okay?” If this was a dream, Eddie didn't want to wake up but this was reality, reality! She stood still, staring at Leonard who was also gazing back. For a moment, Eddie felt something, a spark maybe that made her body go numb.

The memories flashed through my mind in fragments- tires screeching, bright white headlights, hearing Eddie yell my name. My heart jumped as I felt myself instinctively touch my stomach.

But to my astonishment, my hand was caught in the air by my wrist as Aleric held eye contact with mine, his gaze sharp and a smug smile curling up his lips. "He already took away my sanity; I can't let him take my brother as well." Oliver dragged a long inhale, his hand dropped beside him, and he rose from behind Eddie to reveal a bloody mess. Oliver had readjusted his face with his fist, and the bastard couldn't lift a finger to defend himself. Nina dug her hand into Eddie's pocket and pulled up his phone. She dialled a number and placed it on the loudspeaker: "911, what's your emergency?" The attendant's voice on the line came through. "I need an ambulance at this address." She said that and placed the phone on Eddie's chest before walking away.

Jake replied, purposely to taunt Brandon. Brandon hissed, getting up from the sofa and he began to walk away slowly, shaking his head. Her ways were too dangerous truly.
