A Book I Read Novels & Stories

I was busy going through the books. It was actually my favorite book in the library so I was going through this book, and I was finding it quite interesting as I always do back then when I was this kind of person who is eager to read books. Which of course I still am. I was lost in the book until I got a call from an unknown number. At first I was staring at the caller and I didn't want to pick it up because I was so drawn to the book in my hands. And I didn't want to let go because I was so deep into this book as if it was my first time reading it.

Because of a guy whose face I haven't even seen yet? Blame my hormones. I'm an 19 years old girl. I'm not supposed to feel like a 17 years old dude! Shoot. I lean closer to see more. The book. What was he reading? 'Microeconometrics in Business Management.' A sigh of relief escapes my lips. At least, it isn't some kind of p**n magazine. I don't want a pervert hanging around in my brother's house. Our house, now. My parents' house, technically. Whatever.

"But I cleaned the whole place. I swept every corner my eyes could see and my nose could smell. They have to visit you, Uncle Max. I can't believe I wasted half of my reading time doing nothing." "And the remaining half?" Uncle Max smiled and looked at me. "What other half?" "The other half you spent reading your books. Did you read anything new today?" "Yes I did! In fact, it was the most beautiful book I have ever read. I thought you would like it too." "What is the name of the book?" Uncle Max asked, sounding interested. "Shading Black," I said the title aloud as if I had spent all my life memorizing it. "Is it a great book?"

I said as I pulled the book back. I proceeded, “Elizabeth said that books can offer something, and it is different to each and every reader. Now that I’ve read something, I agree with her. A book can remind you of something that you believed to have lost in time. It gives you back that hope, the imagination, the lost child inside of you. Which is why I have to disagree with your belief that reading destroys someone’s knowledge.” She looked at me, stunned by my response.

This way I don’t have to carry books everywhere, but I always have something readily available. The books I keep by my bed are ones that I want to read, but can sometimes be a bit slow in parts, so they help me fall asleep. I’m currently reading “Les Misérables” by Victor Hugo. It’s an amazing book, but some of the details can be a bit much. I’ve always preferred fiction, but some parts of Les Mis read more like a history textbook, perfect for those nights I need help falling asleep.

I just realized Oh my God, this is my room! I took my hand over my mouth with a shocked expression on my face. Two Hours Later... “Done, I love that book. I can read a thousand times and not get tired of it.” I said no partially. Okay, Avery, I started reading a book called Fear Me” Oh, boy I can feel my insides tingle when I open the book. Three More Hours Later...

She uttered before shoving the other copy into her bag. “Lights that don’t flicker.” I read out the title of the book, groaning inside of me, considering that I’ve never been a fan of novels. I only read business contracts, manifestos, and newspapers when I’m bored, but most times it’s business contracts and documents belonging to a property I was buying. “This is a good read, trust me on this. You wouldn’t regret making this video.” “I hope so,” I replied and made the video, encouraging everyone to read her book.

We didn't have this back in the my pack but my uncle always got me books to read. Eager to explore, I set off down the aisles, my fingers grazing the spines of countless books. Each one seemed to whisper its secrets to me, beckoning me further into the labyrinth of knowledge. I couldn't contain my excitement as I selected my first book, feeling its rough texture beneath my fingertips. I found a comfortable spot in a cozy nook, nestled among the towering shelves, and began to lose myself in the words.

I never imagined Antonio would have something like this here. I spent hours browsing through the shelves, looking for something to pass the time. I found several erotic books that taught about sex and dominance, but there was this particular one that caught my eye: *Fifty Shades of Grey*. I had heard about the book before but never read it. Curious, I took it back to my room, along with a few others, and started reading. Days passed, and as I turned the pages, I began to fully understand.

After that, we went to a book cafe near by, they had a rule that you had to buy a cup of coffee to read a book and it was a good idea. I dropped my bags besides Max who was flirting with the barista who seemed to be enjoying what was going on. I walked through the store looking for one of my favorite books - Anne of the green gables. That was a book I read when I was younger and that book was one hell of a great one. "I got his number." Max came squealing. "Yeah, cool." I said while I continued to look for the book. "What?" Max asked with raised brows.
