A Book I Read Novels & Stories

For the first time in years, something—or rather, someone interested me. A book slipped out of her bag while she ran. It was a novel about some naive girl named Lisa. Normally, I wouldn’t give a damn about books, but for some reason, I read it cover to cover that night. I wanted to understand her, to get why someone like her would find joy in something so simple.

Heading to the library alone, I feel sadder the more I am getting nearer to my destination. “I don’t like this.” I mumble while pouting my lips. Airo isn’t here today so I took the book he always reads. It’s my time to fill my head with some useful information about this so-called parallel universe. I spend the rest of my time reading it even though most of it seems impossible to understand. I could get a nosebleed with this out of the world’s words. Closing the book, I just notice a man in all poker glaring at me.

She's a nice girl, even though I'm more likely to remember the entire makeup routine than her name. The will to leave the room evaporates from my body. Strolling around, I find a book in one of the drawers. It's old, and the cover has faded halfway. I know not to judge a book by its cover, but this book looks less appealing than a sandwich without filling. With nothing better to do, I decide to read it. It turns out to be a poetry anthology with different poems. Surprisingly, they're interesting. I read a few before dozing off.

After a brief scolding from my teacher, I was sent to assist the librarian. The library was a sanctuary of towering shelves and soft whispers, its grandeur unexpectedly breathtaking. The scent of aged books and polished wood wrapped around me like a comforting cloak. Wandering through the aisles, I stumbled upon a dimly lit corner that exuded an eerie presence. A single book stood out—its cover blank and edges charred. Curious, I picked it up. "Weird," I muttered, flipping through its brittle pages. My blood ran cold when I saw my name inscribed on the last page.

I was speechless. 'Ah, I forgot about that.' The book I was reading was called 《The Male Lead's Lover》. It was a story filled with crappy cliché, and I also don’t know what I ate to read that kind of book. Maybe I was momentarily out of my mind and bought that book in the bookstore, or maybe I was asleep as I picked that book on the shelf.

i can learn so much from reading it. In the middle of drowning in my book I felt a presence opposite me and heard the sound of chair screeching and within a half minute I heard a rough male voice " Hey there! iam watching you from the last one hour reading that book without moving.so,I came here to check that you are dead or so" He said laughter in his voice.

I sound so pathetic right now. Wondering around the house, I find myself in her office. Walking over to the bookcase, I look through the books she has and find one I've read quite a few time since I've been here but I always find myself going back to. Alice in wonderland. I don't know why I like it so much but i do. Sitting down at her desk I open the book and start to read. As I turn the page, I notice a folder that says Rogue.

"You've read my book!" Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that Ramon read any of my books. I just thought that he stumbled on one of my books online, saw my name on it and did me this big favor as a way to show he's sorry for what he did. But it NEVER crossed my mind that he had actually sat and taken his time to read the entire book.

Diana The gentle rustle of pages fills the air as I lose myself in yet another book. I don't need a sad book to make me feel worse than it is but once I've started I kept on flipping the next page. Who the hell wrote this book!? The Jamie I know doesn't read books and her giving me books is new, so I was a little curious and read it last night only to stay up the whole night blowing my nose from the sadness and the heartbroken words of the main character. 'Red' is the name of the book and when I start reading it, my mind always drifts towards Liam.
