A Castle For Christmas 2 Novels & Stories

“Yeah, the Night Garden witches have spells that prevent anyone from entering their lands” “How so?” “Every time you hit the barrier of the spell; it will turn you around without realizing it. Sally has a couple of charms that we can use to counter the spell, allowing us to see the castle and walk through the barrier.” We head out of the prison and straight to the weapons warehouse, “Hey, do you think she’ll have gingerbread?” I roll my eyes. “Did she have any gingerbread the last time we were there?” “No, but she kind of just popped in and wasn’t you know, prepared for guests.”

“Shift, run back to the castle. There’s still plenty of time to enjoy the festivities.” While the Alphas have their own party, Midwinter is for everyone. The Betas, Gammas, and Deltas who aren’t working have their festivities downstairs. A few Betas stand up eagerly, ready to go, but still others move slowly, chagrined to have lost the double pay and sweet assignment of guard duty in this warm little cabin on the edge of the castle grounds.

Joseph asked with curiosity. "Dark?" Theodore laughed, "No, silly! Do you believe that? It's not black everywhere. Everything is pretty in our realm. It's not everything black, but there are flowers of a darker shade of red. There's a big plum tree which grows red flowers in winter. Houses are colored in different colors. Everything is colorful, but those colors are of a darker shade. Our castle is big and maroon in color. It looks very alluring." Joseph was confused, "How can plum trees grow flowers in winter? They should be growing in spring, shouldn't they?"

“Don’t talk to anyone. Don’t use your powers, don’t do anything to draw attention to yourself Artemis. You’ll get into the castle with Marcus.” Daylen said. Solaris’ castle had to be the most magnificent piece of infrastructure I’ve ever seen. A castle with twelve towers and blocks made of glass and marble gargoyles. Crystal clear material but no one could see what was laying beyond whose walls. “Why can’t I go in with you?” I asked him.

However, as I turned to leave, Louis took my hand and said, "No matter what your mom says, I'll only believe what I see. "Our wedding will go ahead as planned. Don't you dare think about leaving me." My eyes stung with unexpected tears. This was the first time anyone had chosen to believe me despite my mother's words. … After the disastrous Christmas dinner, Louis noticed my lingering gloom and suggested that we go on a road trip for a few days. We chose to go to a nearby small town. The festive atmosphere here felt much richer. The food was also wonderfully fresh. Louis and I had a great time.

I learned to be thankful and quiet. That acceptance made me hate Christmas. Love songs made my skin crawl. The lights under our tree looked like glass eyes. The ribbons on the presents were traps. Every year, the house tuned itself to cheer and I pretended to enjoy it. The twenty-fifth became the night when a new kind of cold touched my bones. It was the day the truth had crawled out at me like an animal. It was the day I had learned how much of my life had been decided by other hands.

We needed Christmas more than ever this year. And so, that is how I ended up taking on the task of organising the events for everyone in the castle. Christmas or what most of the castle residence referred to as yule, was promising to be the biggest that the castle had ever seen. And as each day passed, and more and more people came, the bigger the event grew.

"Fairy Castle", the girls shouted upon seeing the castle created by Long Chen . "Come in and make yourself comfortable", Long Chen said in a tired voice, his power was starting to get out of control, so much so that even he couldn't do anything to calm it down, the girls noticed that Long Chen's energy started to release and Li ' er scream.

The thing was dusty pink, white, and gold, with four floors, tiny towers, a plastic elevator, a ballroom, a stable, lights that actually worked, and enough accessories to make one adult lose faith in capitalism. Across the top of the picture were the words: NEW LIMITED ROYAL EDITION. I knew exactly where this was going, and I didn’t like it. “No.” Poppy turned toward me so fast. “Mommy.” “You already have a castle.” “That’s different.” “The castle you have is almost the size of a studio apartment in Paris.” “That’s a Barbie castle.” Poppy looked at me with painful patience, like she was explaining taxes to an undereducated adult. Then she tapped the tablet with one small finger. “This is a p

Thank God the Langstons don’t rule Upper Castles. In Amaenia, there are ten regions, and each region is ruled by a seat holder. Upper Castles, where we live, is ruled by the Caddels. Our neighbour, The Capital, is the central region of the country and is ruled by the Albertines— the country royalty. The Vandenbergs rule North Ventrise, and then the Barringtons in Barnsley, the Whitlocks in Wells Spring, the Hogwoods in Hillstone, the Hansleys in Hathbourne, the Silvius in Southcove, the Castellans in Chesterfield, and the Langstons in Lancastre.
