A Castle For Christmas 2 Novels & Stories

The third room is locked. I stand in front of the locked door for a long moment, hand on the handle, knowing this is important. Why lock a door in your own home unless you're hiding something? I move on before I get caught. The hallway opened into a massive living area, all windows and modern furniture and that enormous Christmas tree I saw when I first woke up. Presents are stacked underneath, wrapped in silver and white. I wonder if any of them are real or if they're just props in the set design of our supposed perfect life.

“Why do you ask?” Damn it. I cussed inside me as I bit my bottom lip. “Tell me.” He smirked. “Yes, I will. But—” I raised a brow. “But?” “You should know.” My shoulder dropped as I watched him walk past me towards the wardrobe with just his underwear on. He started to wear grey pants. “How would I know?” He turned to me, buttoning his white shirt. “Okay. Come find out later today. Classic Castle Restaurant. There's a reservation for us both there.”

I still had my stuffed animals pressed into my chest. As soon as the girls saw my arms stuffed with the panda and Rudolph they squealed and begged for one. I couldn't deny them and their big puppy eyes, plus carrying two was being a hassle. So I gladly handed over the big panda but kept Rudolph for myself. Knox won it for me and as weird as it sounded I wanted to keep it. We were all currently walking down the street that had been closed for the festival. Christmas decorations lined the buildings and in almost every store front was a Christmas tree perfectly decorated. Christmas music was being played loud enough we could hear it.

We drove 12 hours and switched off drivers, only stopping for food and gas, we should be there in another 10, breaking every speed limit on every road, I didn’t care, and I won’t care about anything until she is safe and in my arms. I slept about an hour and the car stopped, my eyes snapped open, and we were at the gate of a castle, I shook my head, “right, well they should be awake since the fucking sun is setting.” The castle looks completely different then what anyone would expect, it’s not dark or dreary, the trees around it only missing leaves because it’s winter, the grass green and vibrant for this time of year. The house was decorated as if they celebrated holidays, wreathes with b

Paxton asked. “It’s ready anytime.” The head of the castle said. “How about the things I ask?” He asked. “They will be here in thirty minutes, sir.” Winter didn’t think that it was an abandoned castle. The inside was clean, and everything seemed to be old but good old. She tried to keep up with him and nearly tripped as he apologized to her. He scooped her and carried her upstairs. She tapped him and shook her head. But he only smiled. “I know you are tired. Let’s get lazy today.”

"It's snowing, Mr. Hart! Finally, it's snowing! Ms. Renee always visits the Castle of Yore to see the snow. You'll be able to see her again." In Valtara, snow typically arrived early each winter. But this year, despite the biting cold, the snow had been notably absent. Today, however, brought the season's first snowfall. Abigail had been eagerly awaiting this, yearning to witness the snowy splendor of the Castle of Yore. Her small wish had been unmet until this moment. Xander peered outside; the yard was gradually filling with fluttering snowflakes, steadily becoming a denser flurry. This sight stirred excitement within him, but it was quickly overshadowed by a severe bout of coughing.

Molly caught the door before it smashed into her friend. Hannah grinned at him. “Thanks. Bring it around to the back.” Molly held the doors as Hannah and Nicholas carried the heavy boxes out to the alley behind the shop. A large float sat waiting for them. Sitting in the center of the float, surrounded by fake snow and oversized brightly-wrapped boxes was a Christmas tree. Except it wasn't a real tree. It was two ten-foot tall plywood cutouts of Christmas trees slid into one another to form a four pointed tree. The strange part was that it was filled from top to bottom with small drilled holes.

Jennifer chuckled and retorted mockingly, "CEO? Do you really think she became CEO through her own abilities? Without Jeremiah and me backing her up, she's just a useless loser." Charles looked at Jennifer in disbelief. His eyes were filled with shock and anger. Annoyed by the noise, I told the bodyguards to drag the two of them farther away. I crouched alone by the seaside. The winter wind blowing from the ocean was icy and piercing. Little by little, I scattered Noelle's ashes into the sea. I said softly, "Today is Christmas, Noelle. It's also the day you were born. I'm letting you return to the ocean."

she nodded, and he kissed her cheek. He bought a 16th-century castle for her. He knew she was into this fantasy like Dracula and vampires, so he brought her a goth castle right by the seaside. Although he could put the whole world on her feet, this was a small token for her for giving his beautiful children.

Christmas is just as, or even more, grand in the White Castle as it was before. Decorations ranging from Christmas lights hung and lit up, a wreath on all doors, stockings of different colors and names, mini trees per room, poinsettias in full bloom, candles, mistletoes, nutcrackers, you name it. The White Castle looked like Santa had thrown up all over it. Safe to say, Neo was absolutely ecstatic. Back in Arizona, we celebrated Christmas, too, but definitely not as extravagant as this. We just had a small Christmas tree and a few gifts.
