“You may not be the same boy I fell in love with all those years ago, but some things never change. So—what do you want, Jordan?” He exhaled slowly, the tension leaving his shoulders as if he’d been bracing for this moment all night. His hands fell to his sides, fingers curling slightly as he gathered his courage. “I know we talked about doing a movie night,” he began carefully, choosing his words with obvious effort. “And I was hoping… since tomorrow is Christmas Eve… maybe we could do it then?” He swallowed, nerves threading through his voice. “That way, I’d get to wake up with you both on Christmas morning.”

Let alone a family member. My dad and I made it a "festive" day together. Christmas was just a few days away and we were both in good spirits. We loved Christmas. We went out to do some last minute shopping and agreed to watch a Christmas movie together when we got home. He stopped at a store on the way and came out with a bottle of eggnog. It was spiked. We started drinking the moment we got home and managed to finish the bottle halfway through the movie.

That night, we all sat in the living room watching a classic Christmas movie. Onscreen, in The Polar Express, Santa slid down a chimney with his giant sack of gifts, smiling at the children. I watched the screen, but all I could picture was the twisted figure Sophie described. Spider fingers, too many joints, a tilted head, standing perfectly still. Suddenly, it hit me. A gaping hole in Sophie's story.

Ava chatted about school with Darla Hale, Uncle Cole's daughter, and Jamie fought over the largest piece of roast venison with Declan Hale, Uncle Cole's son. The Christmas feast covered the entire table. Everything from the roast venison to the mulled wine and the gingerbread house was a reminder of the festive occasion, which celebrated the warmth of being with one's family. They raised their glasses, wishing each other a Merry Christmas. The smiles had already returned to every face. It was as if my disappearance had been nothing more than a small footnote of the night. I hovered by the table, watching them with a hollow feeling in my heart. I was already dead—frozen solid out in the sub-z

Jennifer chuckled and retorted mockingly, "CEO? Do you really think she became CEO through her own abilities? Without Jeremiah and me backing her up, she's just a useless loser." Charles looked at Jennifer in disbelief. His eyes were filled with shock and anger. Annoyed by the noise, I told the bodyguards to drag the two of them farther away. I crouched alone by the seaside. The winter wind blowing from the ocean was icy and piercing. Little by little, I scattered Noelle's ashes into the sea. I said softly, "Today is Christmas, Noelle. It's also the day you were born. I'm letting you return to the ocean."

Ivy said walking up to Lex and taking his arm in hers smiling mischievously. I hadn’t really watched many movies growing up but that didn’t sound to bad I thought. “How about the marvel movies?” Lex said excitedly. “I’ve never seen that, but I’ll watch them I don’t mind, whatever you guys want.” I said happily as Felix took my hand in his and Axel in the other. I was just happy to be here with my friends, plus a movie night didn’t sound to bad, their mother was hell bent on making everything a surprise for tomorrow being Christmas.

At this moment, we are now here in the middle of the roadway. “What the hell are you doing? You are going to kill us, Christmas!” he yelled, trying to take my hands off in the steering wheel. “No. You’re just the one who gonna die here!” I opened the door to my side and quickly jump out of the car. [Carlos] “No. You’re just the one who gonna die here!” Christmas shouted and my eyes widened as she jumped out in the car. “Christmas!” I called her and as I look back in front of the road, I quickly jump out in the car as well before the truck could kill me. “Argh!” I groaned as I rolled in the roadway and I watched my car hit by the big truck. Damn!

' song on repeat in my brain. Van chose Arthur Christmas. Val chose How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Ricky chose Home Alone 2, one of his favorite movies. Sara chose Christmas Chronicles on Netflix. I chose The Santa Clause. Wilder and Wyatt passed on picking movies, because it was late and they wanted Grandpa to have a turn. He pulls out his movie from his pocket, handing the DVD to Wyatt. Grandpa Mick has Jacks now, holding him close and I love the sight. I pull my phone out and take a picture.

Markus We gorge on our meal and talk about the most random things we could think of, conversations with her are so easy and comfortable I could basically speak to her for months without getting bored. “Your favorite Christmas movie?” she asks, “perhaps Last Christmas, what about you?” she doesn’t answer just stares at me “Elizabeth Cooper are you out of words?” she blinks a few times before saying “you’ve seen Christmas movies?” she asks me again “of course I have, why do you take me for an unfeeling bastard?” I say laughing at her. She shakes her head “no, no it’s not that, I mean a beast of a man like you watching Christmas movies is kind of funny” she thinks it’s funny because of my size?

Your man’s going to spank your ass later,’ he said in his mind before following them. Demie, on the other hand, was still clinging to Aly's arm as they entered the inside of the venue. Christmas decors on every corner, a large Christmas tree was settled on the side with its bright chirstmas lights and a gold star on the top. And with the christmas song played, people smiling at each other, Demie can really feel the spirit of Christmas. Someone meets them, a man who Demie thinks is the same age as Sandro. "Auntie, Merry Christmas," he greeted the woman and kissed her on the cheek.
