Onyx rings gives protection against sunlight. Every vampire here in the pack has one but Cameron doesn't. He's not affected by the sunlight. Maybe because he's the alpha Lord and he's a different kind of vampire, since he was made not turned.

"Spending time with my Luna," He said as he raised his head for a moment before returning to kiss me on my neck. I felt shivers run down my spine and a sensation of ecstasy as he kept on kissing my neck.

When our eyes meet, I didn't recognize his. "Prince Dash, the first Prince you are looking for," his small voice rang as if it has been screamed right to my ears. I can't believe it. I swallowed hard and averted my eyes away from his before nodding. I get it. I held it out and saw that it was indeed in the shape of a fox. It looked like it was made of white gold and it glowed faintly in the dark. "It's him," I whispered underneath my breath. I showed the pendant to Lowan and Noah, "He's sleeping. I'll introduce you guys to him when he wakes up." Both of the boys gave me a warm smile. "About this place," injected Noah. "It feels familiar. It has the same atmosphere as tartarus but less sinister. Do you have any idea where we are, Maura?"

She explained, “At this very moment, Abby and Damian are preparing for their own war with dark witches and vampires. Theirs will be on a much larger scale, but they have the resources to defeat them.” I thought deeply about this and decided we should have sone mock battles. I started formulating a plan, but I really needed to make some lists and start writing everything down. I really wanted to wake up, but Onyx growled, “Not yet. I need to rest. You should too. We will be too busy for rest when we wake.” I sighed, “I guess you’re right. We really should rest and heal.”
