Blood spills out from open wound. I take a step back as Valdis begins to stand again. Onyx rings gives protection against sunlight. Every vampire here in the pack has one but Cameron doesn't. He's not affected by the sunlight. Maybe because he's the alpha Lord and he's a different kind of vampire, since he was made not turned.

I was awoken by something warm against my skin and when I opened my eyes, I found Onyx peppering kisses down my bare shoulders. I flinched but he had me in chokehold. I wasn't expecting him to be here. "What are you doing here, Onyx?" I asked in a whisper. "Spending time with my Luna," He said as he raised his head for a moment before returning to kiss me on my neck. I felt shivers run down my spine and a sensation of ecstasy as he kept on kissing my neck.

he cries. I lunge the knife into the left side of his stomach. He screams in pain. I did it again on his upper right. “Help! Mum! Dad!” Lockie screams. “Goodnight, sleep tight.” I whisper. I quickly slash his throat and leave. I head back to Dead Man’s Woods. I’ve completed my revenge for now. Until someone else crosses paths with me I’ll stay hidden. Saunders house: The front door flings open and the security lights light up. A young boy runs out covered in blood and keeps collapsing. He holds his hand to his throat and the other on his stomach.

When our eyes meet, I didn't recognize his. "Prince Dash, the first Prince you are looking for," his small voice rang as if it has been screamed right to my ears. I can't believe it. I swallowed hard and averted my eyes away from his before nodding. I get it. It might have hunted for food last night. The golden beam of light was starting to appear on the horizon. It was almost dawn and it made me enjoy my meal while watching the sunrise on the glass window. Lowan asked gesturing to something on my hand. "What are you talking about? I'm not wearing a-" I looked down and to my surprise, found a bracelet on my wrist. I held it out and saw that it was indeed in the shape of a fox. It looked like it was made of white gold and it glowed faintly in the dark. "It's him," I whispered underneath my breath. I showed the pendant to Lowan and Noah, "He's sleeping. I'll introduce you guys to him when he wakes up." Both of the boys gave me a warm smile. "About this place," injected Noah. "It feels familiar. It has the same atmosphere as tartarus but less sinister. Do you have any idea where we are, Maura?"

She explained, “At this very moment, Abby and Damian are preparing for their own war with dark witches and vampires. Theirs will be on a much larger scale, but they have the resources to defeat them.” I thought deeply about this and decided we should have sone mock battles. I started formulating a plan, but I really needed to make some lists and start writing everything down. I really wanted to wake up, but Onyx growled, “Not yet. I need to rest. You should too. We will be too busy for rest when we wake.” I sighed, “I guess you’re right. We really should rest and heal.”
