A Piece Of Strange Novels & Stories

What the hell is going on? Gingerly, I caress the worn surface classifying the envelope, studying its intricate details— there is no detail. The outside is as hollow as the envelope's inside. Is it some kind of sick joke? A senseless prank? Or does it lean more towards a more sinister foreboding? A puzzle, perhaps? A task? Loyalty test? A clue? Or simply a strange coincidence? But in any case, why had the stranger, stranger to probably only me, had behaved so abnormally cryptic, almost burdened with confidentiality?

But my feet refused to move. I was frozen, trapped by horror and a terrible, mesmerizing fascination. The stranger stopped. His head tilted slightly, and a low growl rumumbled in his throat, a sound that was not human. Then his shoulders began to shake. I frowned, confusion mixing with my terror. Was he sick? Was he having a seizure? His body suddenly jerked, a violent spasm that racked his entire frame. I stumbled backward, my heart in my throat. A strange cracking sound came from somewhere inside him, the sound of bones breaking and reshaping. My hand flew over my mouth to stifle a scream.

I struggled to move but I couldn't. I open my eyes only for me to see a strange woman sitting next to me with her eyes closed. She said an incantation like prayers and sprinkled a kinda dark water on my body. It felt like a hot liquid when it touched my skin. I screamed and tried to move , but I couldn't. I remembered sharron paralyzed me but who's this strange woman ? She continued to sprinkle the water on my body as I screamed loudly. I jerked at once and threw up on the floor.

Strange! “ Is anyone home?” Bob called out again as he ventured further inside the house, his voice sounding a little shaky and husky. He was beginning to have a strange feeling, and his intuition told him to run out of the door and never return. But Bob continued pressing on, he was too curious to leave... He suddenly froze when he heard he a soft grunt echo through the corridor. Bob was startled and grew alerted. His whole existence warned him that it was the best timing to really walk out the door now. He turned around with the aim to follow his gut feelings.

She frowned instantly, wondering where she was and why it was so white. Then it all came together and the memories of the last event that happened came back to her in floods. She blacked out after meeting that mysterious man, that was all she knew and now, she was in a very strange room. With panic, she jerked up from the bed, resisting the cold that was trying to hold her back. Her eyes roamed the room frantically as her heart began to race inside her chest when her gaze fell on him. Standing at the far corner of the room, with his eyes intently on her, and his back against the wall, he looked like a mysterious assassin ready to take her life at a first glance.

Adrian looked at the White Book. Its cover had changed once more. The silver letters slowly rearranged themselves. THE AUTHOR MUST CHOOSE. Then... a single page slipped free from the book. It drifted gently through the air. Adrian caught it. Unlike every other page... this one contained only a single sentence. It wasn't written in ink. It looked as though the paper itself remembered the words. He read it silently. His face turned pale. The Stranger noticed. "What did it say?" Adrian could barely breathe.

The creature struggled against his grip, letting out a distorted snarl. The creature in his hold looked human but it was far from human, its eyes were blank...but beside the emptiness, the color was amber...like an animal. But the iris was not only amber, they were glowing. The nails...they were not nails, they were claws. His hands were gripping the stranger's arm, trying to free himself, but the hold kept getting tighter. “What the hell,” my voice broke. “Get back!” the stranger snapped without looking at me. I didn’t argue this time.
