They aren't normal but if you knew till now it is impossible for a clever student like you to not know the correct answer, right? Of course, you know that you're a vampire.

Wary. “We need to talk,” he says. I pull my legs up onto the bench and wrap my arms around them. “Yes. We do.” He takes a breath. “You first.” I look down at my hands. They still tremble occasionally if I am not paying attention. “I need the road,” I say quietly. “I thought I was ready to settle here again, to build something stable, but after everything that happened I realized I am not. I feel too restless. Too bottled up. Like I need ten thousand miles between me and all of this before I can breathe freely.”
