The silver lines on my wrists began to glow faintly, reacting to the violence around us. A rogue lunged from the shadows straight toward me. He never reached me. Ronan moved faster than sight, slamming into the attacker with bone-crushing force. The rogue wolf hit the ground hard, Ronan’s claws already at his throat. “Who sent you?” Ronan snarled. The rogue only laughed, blood bubbling from his mouth. “The marked one belongs to no Alpha.” Then he went limp. Dead. Another rogue rushed forward.
