~ JESSE ~ I was coming apart at the seams—my mind, my body, my soul. Everything in me sang with pain and heat, conflicting needs, unspent emotion. And all of it twisted together and roared out of my chest. I was overwhelmed, clinging to this power by a hairsbreadth, and fucking Cazz wouldn’t listen! But even that was making it all worse. When he stepped up and touched me, my soul sang. Now he stood here, touching me, staring at me with such tenderness, and it made me sick.

And he tapped into it. Even if Levon hates him, his soul wouldn't. He could feel it, yearning to reach out. To feel. To hold. To touch. He craves it all the same. He pulled him just once to look into his eyes cupping his face. "You are my heart. And Daniel is my soul. Together you both complete me. I am nothing if not with you. I don’t care who is looking at me or staring at me or whatever. It matters only if it is both of you. Nothing affects me at all. I don’t even know people were looking at us. That voice makes me even more entangled and makes me want to get closer, deeper. I looked up at him, my eyes still misty but full of the same feeling. There was no need for words.
