I pressed my fingers on the floor, supporting myself to get up. In seconds, I was up. I looked around, and there was only one way to leave here. The window. I chuckled. A sad sound. Because there was no way I would fit in through the window. Unless… My eyes looked around… The baseball bat. I rushed to it. Picking it up, the bat connected with the glass. Shattering it. Four more hits, and I was sure I could pass through. Instantly, My head popped out of the window. But not before—

· Someone had taken a picture of my window. · · From outside. · From very close. · And the message beneath it froze my heart. · “You’re next.”

It was as if my trust had been shattered into a million pieces, and I couldn't help but question why these things always seemed to happen to me. Through the window of the car, my tear-filled eyes gazed out at the passing scenery. The world outside felt distant and blurry, mirroring the confusion and pain I felt within. Each passing tree and building seemed to blur together as if the world was spinning around me, reflecting the chaos in my mind.

Barren trees, dry leaves, the brilliantly bright and fresh snow and the sensual moon. My steps towards the source had to be slower than I wanted to, but in my mind I wanted to run and sprint towards the kitchen where it came from. It confused me though. How was it possible? The windows all around the house were nothing but glass window panes framed in wood. There were no latches or any sort of way to swing or slide them open. So how was this possible?

A tear slid down my eye and I placed my hand on the car window. The car started and I saw them fade away from my vision like I had lost them forever. ***************************************

Rookie fucking mistake, I should have examined the window with more caution. Aside from finding another trap, I did learn the windows are made out of something similar to a two-way mirror or tinted windows. I can just make out my reflection in the glass, but I can’t see through it, yet I can see the light of this supposed lightning flashing inside. Iolaire walks up to me, “Find anything?” She quietly asks. “Razor blades,” I deadpan.

And he was all I had left in this world. I got up and opened the window a crack to let the scent of summer inside. Not enough to let the heat in, but enough for my mind to clear. I took a moment to linger by the window, wishing I could bottle the humid scent of warm, night breezes and open it whenever I desired.

I sighed loudly as I went over to the window to raise the blinds and get my motivation for the day. Morning rays streaked through the window, giving me a perfect view of my yard and the surroundings. I had a hunch that today was gonna be a great day. It wasn't me trying to be overly optimistic about the end result of the confirmation test, but I knew nature was going to smile at me.

Jasmine Pov: The sunlight directly fall on my face peeking through the drapes of the window, sunlight itself have many advantages, but for me it brings out a new day which should be done with a fresh start, it's rays indicate that the day which consists of bad memories is gone by giving a new ray of hope.

I yell out over the wind. I hear the glass shatter in the window and glass begins to twist around me in the wind. With my arms still tied to the chair, I am unable to shield my face from the dangerous wind that is flying around me. The glass cuts into my skin, leaving shallow cuts all over my body.
