JIA POV The view out my window is nothing special. In fact, the only thing I can see is the side of another hospital. But I have been looking out my window a lot lately, because while it is boring at least it isn't the same white walls I have been staring at for what feels like an eternity.

I put my head out of the window to catch a shadow, but all I can see is grass and buildings. This is getting out of hand.

My hand drags down my stomach, nails grazing skin, and the moment I let the lace slip lower, I swear I hear something outside my window. I glance toward it curtains drawn, but the streetlight spilling a faint glow through the gap. Another message. I’m closer than you think.

A weary sigh left my lips when I caught a glimpse of droplets that was leaking from the thatched roof. Shivers ran down my spine when cold breeze illuminate through the window. I forgot to shut the windows. I know I'm in for a cold session. If it doesn't drag me down to bed. Just in time, I sneeze out, my head banging with headache as if it will split in two any moment.

I go to the window, peering out at the deserted street below. For just a moment, I think I see a figure standing in the shadows across the road, face tilted up toward my window. Then the wind gusts, branches swaying, and when they settle, the figure is gone. If it was ever there at all.

No doors, no cracks in the walls, just a shadow of myself… Even so, I didn't relax. Since the place was full of narrow passages, I decided to walk through, till I caught sight of a dusty window left open, wide enough for me to jump through. I threw myself out through the window, crashing on the hard ground with my back slamming against the rough stones.

Venus's POV I wake up and look through the window. Another small pebble hits the glass of the window again and I jump a little before I walk over, to find Theo about to throw another pebble towards my window. It's still dark but Thank Heavens for the werewolf ability that I can see clearly.

I sighed loudly as I went over to the window to raise the blinds and get my motivation for the day. Morning rays streaked through the window, giving me a perfect view of my yard and the surroundings. I had a hunch that today was gonna be a great day. It wasn't me trying to be overly optimistic about the end result of the confirmation test, but I knew nature was going to smile at me.
