Lucas joined them on the bed, "Looks like our teddy bear is in for some excitement." They continued weaving imaginative tales, laughter filling the room, until Kai finally drifted off to sleep with dreams of daring teddy bear escapades. Eve softly kissed his forehead and whispered, "Goodnight, my little adventurer." Lucas smiled, "Sweet dreams, buddy." As they tiptoed out of the room, Lucas looked at Eve, "Our bedtime stories are getting more elaborate." Eve chuckled, "Blame it on your son. He's got a vivid imagination." And with that, they left the room, leaving behind the peaceful slumber of their little mommy's boy, surrounded by dreams sparked by their whimsical bedtime tales.

Nathaniel said. “Another one! Another one!” Sebastian requested. Alisa nodded with a smile. “You want another story, Ali?” Nathaniel asked his daughter. Alisa nodded. “I can’t hear you, baby.” Alisa swayed her body at first, then spoke. “Another one!” Nathaniel chuckled, pinching Alisa’s cheek lightly. “Good girl.” They hadn’t seen Serena yet, so they eagerly listened to another story. The last book Nathaniel read was 'Goodnight Moon.' It was the perfect story to get them ready for bed. As he read, he changed his tone and pointed to the items mentioned in the book. By the time he was done, the kids were satisfied.

"Can we do another one together?" "Sure but we'll have snacks first." Crimson set the tray down on the table and they both sat down, enjoying the snacks. Cleo happily munched on a cookie while he ate cheese crackers. "Daddy, do you remember the bedtime story you told me last time?" "Which one, sweetie?" "The one about the kids who lived in a house made of candy... The scary lady used the sweets to trick them into coming inside so she could eat them." "That's Hansel and Gretel."

Nearby, Max had been sleeping curled up on the couch. Hearing Joshua return, he rubbed his eyes, climbed into his father's lap, and wrapped his little arms around him. "Dad… I'm sleepy. Will you sleep with me?" Joshua glanced at his watch. It was already one in the morning. He picked Max up and carried him upstairs. "It's so late. Why are you still awake? Didn't one of the maids read you a bedtime story?" Max puffed out his cheeks unhappily. "Every night, Mom made me sweet soup before bed. The maids don't know how to, and they don't tell stories as nicely as Mom did. I can't fall asleep."

However, with something on her mind, Thea tossed and turned that night, unable to fall asleep. Thorne pulled her into his arms and commanded dominantly, "Close your eyes, I will tell you a story." Then he went from Snow White to Pea Princess, from Cinderella to Thumbelina. Thea became more and more uneasy as she listened, “Why are all these stories about princes and Cinderellas who go through hardships and end up happily together?" Thorne said, "Because I liked it." Thea, “..." Finally, she felt a little guilty, “Why don't you go to sleep first? I really can't fall asleep."

That I also used that spoon just moments ago? My face heated up, and I avoided his gaze. “I'm going to the bathroom.” I quickly tell him and then I run out of the room, so as to not make a fool of myself again.. ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤ That night, before I left, Sophia and Franklin asked me to tell them a bedtime story. Even though I had experiences in putting Xavier and Clayton to sleep, I only knew of the story of the three little pigs and of course Cinderella but my boys weren't ever interested in that second one.

She responded, and I could feel it; my heart swelled with happiness. "What story do you want us to read for you, Axel?" I asked the moment we got inside his room, and her mom reminded him to brush his teeth, and he was jumping while he went inside his bathroom while I took Megan in my arms, and we hugged each other until Axel came back, and he was showing us his white teeth. We read the stories of Jack and the Beanstalk and The Red Riding Hood, and then I smiled when he was yawning. "Good night, Dad and mom, and thank you, I am so happy tonight, and I couldn't wait to tell Kim that my mom and dad read me stories." He said, and I tucked him on his bed, and we kissed him good night.

he murmured, writing it like it was a mission objective. She watched him. Focused. Serious. Intent. Like a determined father trying to memorize a world he had missed. “And he likes stories before sleeping,” she added softly. Reid paused at that. “What kind?” “Adventures. Brave heroes. Silly monsters. Anything where someone protects someone else.” He nodded slowly and wrote: Bedtime stories – protective theme. The room felt different now. Not heavy. Not tense. But quiet. “You already had lists for me too?” she asked after a moment.

Her eyelids grew heavier until she finally allowed herself to be tucked into bed. “Story, Mommy?” “Which one would you like?” I perched on the edge of her bed, stroking her hair. “The princess wolf,” she mumbled, eyelids fluttering. I began the familiar tale, watching as Debbie fought valiantly against sleep. By the third page, she had lost the battle, her breathing deep and even. I leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead before standing. Edward waited by the door, watching us with an expression I couldn’t quite decipher. We slipped out of the room, leaving the door slightly ajar as Debbie preferred.

ASTRID It’s three minutes past midnight and I just put my baby girls to sleep after reading two chapters of their favorite children’s book — Jack And The Giant Bean. They stayed awake, refusing to sleep until I returned. I had to give them a bath and tuck them in myself. Between Zoya almost chewing the tiny wing off her duckie and Zara splashing water all over the place, coupled with my exhaustion, I almost suffered a goddamn stroke right there in the bathroom.
