Due to the first holy war between the devils and angels, demons now roam the world. Seeing this, god bestowed humanity with blessings to fight back against the demons. My neighbor's daughter is sick, and my mother forces me to donate a kidney to her. I've been malnourished since childhood—just drawing blood is enough to cost me my life. "You whore!" A masculine voice. "You philanderer!" A feminine voice. "I'll kill you in this house!" He bellowed as he charged straight to the woman and started beating her up. The little boy stood at the door and watched his parents go about their daily routine, tears spilled from his eyes. He stood in the shadows, just watching and crying. "Oops. I've forgotten about you." He said to the little boy. "Mom's dead..." The little boy said in a tiny voice. The man looked down at the lifeless white woman, "Seems like it." He looked at the boy with an eye filled with menace. "You'll pretend you didn't see a thing. You'll......" The siren rang outside. The police had arrived. A neighbour had alerted them when he heard the noise. He watched as the policemen pointed their guns at his father. He watched as they took his father away. He remained hidden, his blue eyes returning to the woman who laid on the floor, with eyes as blue as his. She was staring right at him. Finally, she sees him. Only in death, did she really see him. Something died in that little boy that day. Replaced with bitterness.

SHADOW” is about Liam Remmick and his adventures in seeking revenge. His father, Steve Nazar abandoned the mother when she was still pregnant. After the death of his mother he lived from one orphanage to another until he was thrown out to fend for himself. Because no other orphanage agreed to take him in, mostly because of his sadist character, he lives in a cave eating whatever he finds. Most times he would steal food and fruits from vendors—he would be caught, beaten to a pulp and the food he stole would be taken from him. He would go home empty handed with nothing but a bruised face and a few broken bones and swollen eyes. When he’s not stealing fruits he’s either hunting for game or mushroom. He takes him home to the Shadow Realm—is the home of people with the ability to control Shadows, Liam’s father was from there but he deserted the place.
