Spirit Walker

Spirit Walker

“He’s been what you’ve seen, and I’ve only seen him that way last night. When he made love to me.” “Hmm,” Mavis placed a finger towards her head for a moment. “There is a lost book of the Bible that I had found, called the Book of Enoch.” She looked towards Ava with sadness. “It basically says that if God doesn’t want his angels to be with humans, he punishes them. Back in ancient times, angels came down and mated with humans, causing the birth of giants. When God found out, he cast those angels out of Heaven.”

The Stolen Alpha

The Stolen Alpha

Athena's heart swelled with compassion as she fell into step beside him, the rhythmic crunch of their footsteps on the forest floor a soothing accompaniment to their unspoken understanding. As they walked, the silence between them thickening like the evening mist, Athena's voice gently pierced the stillness. "Eira shared your story with me, Gabriel. I'm so sorry." Gabriel's gaze drifted toward the horizon, his eyes clouding like the stars obscured by gathering storm clouds. His voice barely rose above a whisper. "Nynx's loss... it's a wound that won't heal." The pain in his words hung in the air, a palpable ache.

Mercenary W.O.L.F (Never Die Alone)

Juno gets out and walks forward to a gigantic Stone gate, with serpentine inscriptions resembling the constellation Ophiuchus on both sides. Dantzler: (Looking a little surprised.) "Seriously, those things still exist?! Mom told Xanne and I stories about these creatures that supposedly were a good challenge for her, but I never believed it to be true. She's the strongest fighter I've ever met in my entire life. That's why this planet dubbed her with the name Athena in reference to the Greek goddess. Since she has the "Book of Knowledge" after fighting her and bringing her down. Anyway, that's a story for another time. So, you were saying-" (The doors open and what looks like a priest with a

Purpel and Ash / Forbidden Love

Purpel and Ash / Forbidden Love

Her voice deepened, as if she were not the only one speaking: “Venus Erycina… Mars Ultor… you have bound us together. Whoever lays a hand upon us lays a hand upon the gods themselves.” The flames in the room intensified. The remaining men recoiled. Even Lucius hesitated as he sensed the divine presence. Marcus, pale from blood loss, drew Livia close. Their foreheads touched. Blood and tears mingled. “I love you,” he whispered faintly. “More than blood. More than honor. More than Rome.”

The Warrior And His Emperors

The Warrior And His Emperors

He doesn't know and he didn't realise that he was crying. Adharva and Mithraos had watched silently for a moment. They did not know how to comfort Eloy rather than assure him that the possibility of not having a child did not worry them. Both sat on his sides. He looked down. They wiped his eyes and kissed him lovingly. "I know," he told them both, understanding without words and then they bathed together before they took him to bed. They made sweet love that night. -------------------- Both the emperors and their high King were charmed by their nephew who now practically has them wrapped around his finger. They waited for Aeneas to turn at least a month old before travelling.

Asterion

Asterion

I questioned. “Sixteen.” he stated like that made sense. “I don’t read minds, Hades. Sixteen what?” I asked. “Sixteen maidens fair, brought across the Sea to their end. Embraced by the star. Sixteen mothers fair, scattered to the world to raise their heirs. With each new life, a new hope for a new race bloom.” he recited what sounded like a prophecy.

Such an interesting & sweet twist to the Minotaur's story. Loved it! Asterion was so well depicted & emotionally drawn. The ending & epilogues were just so heart touching. I was very moved by the ending. Thanks for a very lovely, moving story.

I loved this story. I started reading it twice before, then just read it all way through over the last couple of days. I really want more like this! It was such a great twist on the Minotaur Myths and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lost to Time

Lost to Time

The small boy stares at me with big blue eyes questioningly and glances at Adrexa, who's standing behind me. I guess she signaled to the boy that it was okay to answer and said softly, "Aeneas." Holy Shit! I took a Classical Greek History and Mythology class in my Freshman year at college. I read a lot of Homer and I know how Troy is destroyed when the Trojan War ends. It's a relief the conflict hasn't started yet! But I also had to read an epic poem by Virgil, The Aeneid. The poem is about the journey of the Trojan survivor Aeneas. The ancestor of Rome.
