Now, I unexplainably feel almost euphoric. Something nestled deep within is singing to me. It's both comforting and terrifying. Yawning, I get to my feet, glancing at the bed, only to notice something sitting upon the side table. Frowning, I circle the bed, realising it's a book with a note lying atop it. Picking it up, I twist the book over, reading the title. This is easily the most beautiful book I've ever seen. The spine has a golden pattern printed over it, leeching onto the front, twisting around the letters of the title.

But what catches my eye is s a stack of books I’ve never seen before. They are in several different shades of blue, but all covered in the same material. It looks like a leather but more textured, maybe another animal hide? They have the most beautiful gold writing on them and I am just simply, drawn to them. I want to sit with them and hold them, I want to stroke the covers and open them but not just read them I want to devour the contents of these books. It’s a weird feeling. I feel as drawn to them as I do to Leo.

After a moment of hesitation, she opened the door a little and peeped inside, when she saw no one, she opened it further and stepped in. Her gaze swept over the room once again, taking in its minimalist, yet elegant state. Everything was orderly, the bed was neatly made, and her eyes were drawn to the small bookshelf next to it. Curiosity got the better of her, and she found herself walking towards the bookshelf. “Jane Austen and R.L Stines,” she murmured as she ran her fingers along the spine of the books, “Interesting taste.” Her gaze landed on a picture frame wedged in between the books and her curiosity piqued further as she gently took it out.

After that he stood and left me in the room. Now barely an hour later he sends me a trunk full of books. Ella moved to stand behind me and I could hear her sharp intake of breath when her eyes landed on the books. "They're beautiful, right?" Ella only nodded her head and leaned down to touch the spines of one of the books. They weren't really books to be precise, well they were books but not really big ones, almost like journals, just bigger and fresher. The covers were embossed in a beautiful flower pattern, each color having a flower of its corresponding color on it.

I opened the first book *Fifty things a pregnant woman shouldn't do,* The title alone already looked so boring that it made me want to sleep. I stared at the book for a while before opening the first page to see what was written inside exactly. Seeing the first page, I suddenly felt intrigued because apart from the big writing of the publisher, there were pictures there too! It was like a book made for kids but that only went ahead to show how creative the writer and the publisher were. *I know how lazy pregnant women can be, which is why I decided to draw some pictures to hook you in. Don't drop the book, beautiful. You gonna love it,*

The shelves situated near the windows held a thousand of books, the only thing inside this room that really drew me in. My hands carefully brush the spines of the books. I pulled out one of the books that is entitled: Eros: A Cupid History and randomly opened it but instead of finding words in it, it reflected a couple of gold images floating on the cream colored pages. Mesmerize but bored, I pull out another one that is under the title of ‘Cupid Conundrums’. The letters and sentences appear golden against the cream pages. The paper, although old, smells like it was newly written, the font looks so elegant that it kind of reminds me of Grandma Aphrodite’s handwriting. “This is crazy! I have

If anything, his bookshelves told me more about him than his answers did. He also had color-coordinated the books. And for some reason, it sort of gave the whole space a sense of unity. A shelf of green novels sat above yellow ones. Black covers were on the right. White ones on the left. Pink and red stayed in one area, while purple lounged in another section. “Your library would make the Beast jealous.” He raised his eyebrows. “The Beast?” “From Beauty and the Beast. You know in the movie when he shows her the library and she’s so excited because she’s always wanted to explore the world and now she has it right there in those books?”

What book is that? Jai leaned over to the front and took the book from the cushion to examine it. It was light and a bit thin. There was a picture in the cover that looked like a forest, and a small boy was in the picture, picking some mushrooms. The title was written in artistic way, like a children book would.

Maybe I am dreaming… yes, life has been so stressful recently and that is what is happening but that book keeps on grabbing my attention. Moving towards it, I see that the cover is practically made of crystal. It is so sparkly and I can’t resist touching it. As my hand drags along the book, I feel this longing towards it. As it were mine so I flip it open and a gust of wind hits me in the face and multiple images flashes in my mind.
