As I bade Chris farewell the following morning, I couldn't help but experience a twinge of melancholy. "What did you say?" "I said you should get up and go. It's getting late." She said Louder than the other time. "Fine... I'll leave or I might go back on my words. See you tomorrow night my feisty kitten." He whispered into her ear and that sent a shiver down her body. "Night!?" Ivy asked before she could stop herself. "Yes. I have a meeting tomorrow morning and I have something on later in the afternoon. I'll be here by night to pick you up." He answered, kissed her one more time, and left her house.

The Night Before That night, I lay awake, my mind racing with thoughts of tomorrow. Phoenix's words echoed in my mind: "Forever, my love." I smiled, feeling a sense of calm wash over me. After everyone had their assignments, they went to bed because tomorrow night was going to be one hell of a long and bloody night. How any of us would sleep with the anticipation for tomorrow, I did not know...
