Taking that as a yes, he paid for tickets for another light-hearted comedy, “Grandpa’s little warriors” which again made them laugh so hard that Rick appeared to have almost forgotten everything that had happened in the morning.

The movie had long since finished. “Finished without me?” he asked playfully. He wondered what she was trying to find in the credits. It was unlike her. Jessica on the other hand, didn't even realize when the movie had ended. Adam picked up the remote and wrapped his arm around her. She was cold. Adam took a look at her to see if anything was off. She was doing a great job at looking stress free. He bought it. “Wanna watch something else?” he asked. Jessica reluctantly nodded in affirmation. He was back on the main menu, looking for a good movie. Both of them wanted a comedy to numb down what they had just been through.

At the end of the movie she straightened up and yawned. "That was fun" she said and I laughed and shook my head. "You are an unpredictable one" I said. "I thought that you were going to have a heart attack in the middle of that" Vander piped in. Layla smiled and said, "But that's part of the fun. If you aren't scared, then what's the point?" I looked at Van and smirked. Even more proof that Layla and I were meant to be. After the movie, we went to the Diner and had dinner. We all relaxed and enjoyed our time together. We laughed and bonded over burgers and milkshakes. Soon it was time to go. We all grabbed our shopping bags and said our goodbyes.
