Dripping Forbidden: 100 Ways to Make Yourself Wet

Chapter 1: The System Awakens The world ended on a Tuesday afternoon while I was stuck in traffic on the highway outside the city. One moment the sky was its usual dull gray, the next it split open with a sound like tearing metal. Purple lightning cracked across the heavens, and a voice—no, a presence—echoed inside every living mind. System Initialization Complete. Welcome to the New World.

I Make My Own Happy Ending

I Make My Own Happy Ending

Which is why there was a point in time in human history where people believed aliens and extradimensional travel was nonsense (stupid, right? This was proven false when one of the said parallel worlds imploded with enough force that it created several dimensional rips. Earth, being a younger and bigger world than the others, survived mostly intact. In comparison to the elf world Ellenis and the dwarf world Oren, Earth was in relatively good condition even though we lost most of our continents. There weren't many records left during this period since 70% of the people on Earth died. It took a while for the world to recover from such a massive catastrophe, but it managed to move on because of

WORLDS COLLIDE - THE SACRIFICE

WORLDS COLLIDE - THE SACRIFICE

On the cupboard, Nick and Rachel kept smiling, frame angled a hair further toward the mantel as if memory itself wanted a better view of the war. They muscled the boxes to the ute. On the ridge road, Gabe stole a last look at the reef. The slick circle out beyond convulsed and collapsed. Phosphorescence pulsed where the temple slept—a gate beating like a heart. Far along the blue line south, something vast cut toward Sydney. The newspaper lay open on the dash, that bad still of a city’s worst night: werewolves on taxis, winged shapes over the Quay, a blade of light on the steps.

The Alpha's Replacement Bride

The Alpha's Replacement Bride

When they were about to reach and observe the book, Orcenal threw it to the raging fireplace. Ayja gasped while Anatoli frowned. But contrary to them, Orcenal kept his expressionless face. He whispered, “The connection between two worlds will be severed after this.” The three looked into the book that was slowly turning to ashes, their eyes complicated. “We can’t do anything about it,” Ayja said. “We really can’t.” Anatoli rubbed Orcenal’s back to give him just a little bit more support. The event that happened in the other world... they couldn’t change it even though they already knew what would happen. They were no longer Gods after all.

Two Connected Worlds

Two Connected Worlds

I didn't quite understand her and where exactly she's heading to. She was still staring at me, not even blinking her eyes or breaking the eye contact. She looked all serious and tears were in her eyes and I could tell she was fighting it from flowing down her cheeks. I just stared at her dumbfounded, not having any words to say. "I'm not from Earth and what I told your mom wasn't all a lie – it was the truth. I'm from a place more like another world called Marazona. There, we don't have cars, we don't have clothes like this, we wear leaves. We don't know what a TV is or look like. And the most shocking part is that, we don't have male over there. I've never seen people of your gender before

Entropy Trilogy 1: Melting The Hate

Manang Lydia said. “Does she allow that?” Manang Lydia smiled and winked at me. “If you are feeling fine, then you can.” I went upstairs and went to Dale’s library. Before picking up a book to read, I enjoyed looking, rooming around first, leaving a gentle touch to every book I passed by. My gaze at the “The Scorch Trial” book that was written by James Dashner. I already finished reading “The Maze Runner”. I decided to read it and went to the garden.

DEATH REINCARNATE

DEATH REINCARNATE

The particular book appears in front of him as HE gladly reads the title out loud. “Death Resurgence.” As the book opens and the series of the current events begin to flash and flood. HE giggles in HIS utmost amusement, as HE presented. “Well, well, well. Shall we learn the ropes of what lies within the Resurgence?” From the book that deliberately flips and presented the gist of the world that it brings, the words are written and said.

Center Land (Book 3 of Kendra's Journey)

Because of his knowledge of and skill with animals, he often proved invaluable during the occasional encounter with a wild beast; especially those that were extinct on the surface. The second volunteer was a female named Alice. In her mid-twenties, Alice’s face showed the signs of wear and worry. Even so, the permanent creases that greedily occupied her young flesh didn’t deter from the sparkle of life in her dancing blue eyes. She’d weathered being orphaned right after the war and being raised within a group of wanderers that slowly fell prey to either the zombies or the aliens. Desperate for survival, she and the few remaining in her group migrated to inner earth. Completely unprepar

Leading My Family to Glory

Tyr’s smile faded immediately before he inquird, “So, what is Maxime up to?” “He predicted that a great disaster would occur within the next few years. Also, the eon is coming! From now on, the ancient martial arts world and the mortal world will be re-integrated. It would be the same with the Second World overseas. The birth of the five books of wonders will coincide with the big disaster.” “Five books of wonders?” “The book of Songs of the Empire is not the only book,” Silas explained. “According to Senior Belisarius, there are a total of five books of wonders, but only this one is currently available. The next four books will undoubtedly reveal themselves one after another later. The book

Sealed In Darkness

Sealed In Darkness

Even the pungent stench of decay had crowned the day with a lingering nauseating grace, travelling the skies like an entourage of heavy soot. Buildings were left in ruins. Wailing and screams, chattering metal armours, and the resounding explosions of canons echoed in a flowing stream of rings. The World was in ruin; one would mistake it to be the end of the World. The War between the Ultiar gods: Ekron god of discord and darkness, and Vyorn goddess of Nature, had gone on for centuries. The mid 7000BC to 2000BC, felt the kind caresses of the sword and heavy form of magic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Oh wow, 'When Worlds Collide' is such a classic piece of disaster sci-fi. So, the main thrust is that astronomers discover a rogue star, named Bronson Alpha, and its orbiting planet, Bronson Beta, are on a direct collision course with Earth. Total extinction is a certainty in about a year or two. The plot splits into two huge, desperate efforts.

First, there's the scramble on Earth as society collapses into chaos, with governments trying to maintain order while knowing the end is coming. The second, and really the core of the novel, is the secret, international project to build a fleet of rocket-powered 'arks' to ferry a small, selected group of humans, animals, and cultural treasures to Bronson Beta, hoping it might be habitable. It’s less about the cosmic spectacle and more about the brutal, almost clinical selection process for who gets a ticket off the doomed planet. The ethical dilemmas are relentless.

The final act is the nail-biting journey and the landing on the new world, which ends on this massive cliffhanger. You're left wondering if they’ve just escaped to another grave. It’s that tension between human ingenuity and sheer cosmic indifference that stuck with me long after I finished it.
