I was introduced into this world on the eve of my mother's death. Through the many stories of my father, I learned what I could about the woman I loved but would never know. She was called Sakura after the season of the cherry blossoms. She was a petite, delicate woman of pale skin. In her joy and happiness, she would turn the gentle pink of the flowers of the season. My father was named Homura after the blaze one would see during his anger if it ever showed.

Sakura was praying very hard Jane would miraculously appear and sort out this mess when she heard a commotion on the other side. Iori looked to the left to see a huge Sakura tree to the side the wind blowing around it and shaking of the pink petals around them like a scene out of a picture, “It’s beautiful…” Iori said stopping to admire the magnificient tree. “What is?” Shun asked, “The Sakura… It’s been a while since I’ve been in Japan during spring…” “Has it? When was the last time you went flower viewing?” “I think the last time had been back in middle school when I was back here for spring break…” “You went with Haruki and the others?” Shun asked “No, I was in the mountain for my training back then… I went with Akagi-sama.”

"That's Shakira and the man—Shuji and I saw in your room, Leatrice," Akatsuki said at the same time that he recognized the two from his memory. "Who's Shakira?" Hyo asked. "The one next to Shuji, Hyo secretary—hey!" Akatsuki scolded his friend Erika. "I will attack them!" Erika said annoyed.

“Just us.” Breakfast waited in the same serene dining room as before. Low table, floor cushions, the gentle clink of porcelain against lacquer. Sakura wore pale lavender today, her hair pinned with a single jade comb shaped like a crane. Haruto sat at the head in quiet charcoal, already reviewing something on a slim tablet while sipping matcha. Dante,black cashmere sweater, dark jeans, sleeves pushed to his elbows, settled beside me, one hand resting casually on my thigh beneath the table the moment we knelt.

I saw Eula approaching me. "Again, sir. I'm sorry on behalf of my friend. She's a newly recruited member of the suicide cup event and doesn't have a single idea of who we are. I'll just remove her-" my eyes widened and glared at Eula. "Don't. As I've said, she's my prey, and I won't let her escape.." he fixed his coat first before smirking at me.
