After a moment, she smiled. "An echo," she whispered, and the scroll glowed brightly, the words rearranging to form a key. Harley's scroll presented a different challenge: "I can be cracked, made, told, and played. What am I?" He furrowed his brow, thinking deeply. "A joke," he said confidently, and the scroll responded in kind, forming another key. Seraphina's scroll was the most complex: "I am not alive, but I grow. I do not have lungs, but I need air. I do not have a mouth, but water kills me. What am I?"

“He would be more useful to us alive than dead. Now we have to spend hours solving a dumb riddle.” “The sun is coming up already,” Sebastian announced. “We don’t have enough time.
