Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

He gently placed me back on the bed while Arnold hovered nearby, incessantly asking, "How did this happen, Atlas? Look how pale she is. Is being pregnant this tough? I..." "Shut up," Atlas snapped, silencing Arnold immediately. I caught my breath and said to Atlas, "What about my food? I'm hungry." That was when Arnold remembered he was still holding a thermos. “Here! This is the soup I bought from Green Cottage, along with some snacks." As soon as I heard it was porridge from Green Cottage, I pointed at it and told Atlas, "I want the soup." Atlas glanced at Arnold and ordered, "Bring it here."

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

Love Behind the Veiled Terror

Love Behind the Veiled Terror

The man was dressed in black, looking like a prince of darkness who was gloomy. “Sit and eat.” Jose waved his fingers and the servant who was ready there immediately pulled a chair for Valerie. She sat down and several servants from the kitchen immediately came with trays. A servant turned the tiny bowl in front of her and he poured the orange soup over it. “It's lobster soup. I hope you like it.” Jose smiled slightly, then ate the soup in silence. Inevitably Valerie took the spoon and tasted the soup. The soup was so good, she realized, her stomach rumbling. She was apparently very hungry.

Hotter Than Hell

Hotter Than Hell

I'm banged up and not feeling well, and I still want to run my hands across the stubbly line of his jaw and lick his mouth. "Albondigas," he says. I have no idea what he's talking about and give him a confused look. "The soup. It's albondigas," he offers. Just his mouth saying the word "albondigas" is more than my over-sexed thoughts can handle. Soup dribbles from my chin, and before I can stop him, Moon wipes it with a napkin. He's close, so close, and it makes me nervous. I want him so very badly. "I've heard of albondigas but never realized it was soup."

NEMESIS REBORN ( The Aftermath of Gene Powers)

NEMESIS REBORN ( The Aftermath of Gene Powers)

She called as she let her tears fall freely. “ Where have you been” She asked and Alvara hugged her more tightly. • *. * Emily passed two bowls of creamy chicken tortilla soup over to Alvara and Maverick who wee seated at the dinning, their stomach grumbling at the sweet and mouthwatering smell of the soup. Alvara grabbed the spoon and started scooping in, not minding how hot it was. “Uuhhhh…..been so long” She moaned in pleasure. “ I’ve missed this soup, so much” She added still scooping in. Grabbing the bowl and bringing it to her mouth, she drank it all at once. Placing the empty bowl on the table, she rested back on the chair, licking her lips.

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

So, there would only be soup which was made out of chicken stock served on the table, but this soup would generally be used to cook very precious and expensive ingredients like shark’s fin, abalone, and fish maw, which were regarded highly as high-end ingredients in Oskian cuisine. Alas, this kind of food was very difficult for Kathleen to swallow. In her opinion, the feast of the highest level which was worth hundreds of thousands of dollars in The Heaven Springs was just a large table of low-quality protein and a possible gout package. She felt that if she were to continue eating like this, she would get anorexia sooner or later. So, she called the waitress to come in and asked her, “Hello

The Price of Being Right

The Price of Being Right

"Grandma, don't listen to those charlatans. I personally had this restorative seafood soup made with top-grade deep-sea abalone, sea cucumber, and bluefin tuna. It's all premium protein!" Old Mrs. Whitmore accepted the bowl with indulgence and praised him loudly before all the guests. "My real grandson is truly filial. Believing in science works better than any folk remedy!" With that, she scooped up a large spoonful of seafood soup and swallowed it. But shortly after it went down, the smile on her face froze. Her formerly rosy face rapidly turned blue-black. "Uh... uh..." Irene's eyes bulged. Her hands clawed at her throat in agony, and hoarse sounds scraped from her mouth.

Noah

He straightened up a little when he saw Gio's youngest sister Pria and Rita walking toward their end of the table. "What did you guys order?" They walked past them and ended up at the head of the table, facing them. "Oh my God, Gio." Pria laughed. "Soup, really?" "It was their siete mares soup. You should've seen how much seafood was in it." "Well, shit," Abel laughed. "The bowl is big enough to bathe a baby in!" They all laughed. Noah laughed nervously, praying nothing stupid would be said about him and Rita. He trusted his friends, and even Hector knew not to blow this, but he couldn't help worrying.

It's Meant To Be

It's Meant To Be

Abigail's gaze swept over the crowd as she said, word by word, "Normal fish soup isn't this white, unless a spoonful of evaporated milk is added, then you can make any kind of delicious fish soup." Someone else went outside and vomited again. They couldn't believe that the cafeteria would do such a despicable thing. "I saw concentrated lamb broth in the kitchen, do you know what it is? Just one spoonful of it, and even plain boiled water tastes like lamb bone soup." Another employee breathed a sigh of relief, "Thank goodness, thank goodness. I didn't have much of an appetite for lunch, so I just mixed a little sesame sauce with my rice... I didn't eat anything else."

The President's Accidental Wife

The President's Accidental Wife

Their business was thriving. They ordered a number of dishes including a soup that was brewed with a variety of seafood, such as abalone, scallops, lobster, etc.… Charlotte leaned towards the dishes and had her hands on the table the whole time. The food was delicious, and she was enjoying herself. Summer had also gobbled up her share of lobster and soup. They were very full from eating, and their stomach felt bloated, so they decided to walk back to the hotel instead. As they were walking, they passed by a pharmacy. Summer then nudged Mark and said, “You should get it. I’ll wait for you here with Charlotte.”

A good book from the start, and the book cover really got me....... What should she be doing with that avacado and the tiny kids on her shoulders? It isn't the regular book cover i usually saw in this app. How did it manage to pass the book cover review?......

The Devil's Bride

The Devil's Bride

The party was great. Derrick and the boys arrived with drinks for all of them to enjoy. It was rushed, but everyone was pleased to see variations of dishes on the table. There was an abundance of seafood dishes, steaks and grilled fish, fresh salads, and, of course, desserts. What caught Lyra's attention was the chicken soup. It was hearty and warming; it reminded her so much of her mother that she almost began to cry the first time she took a sip.
