The symbols were unfamiliar, yet they held a certain logic. The door, a massive slab of stone, was covered in intricate carvings that seemed to shift and change as the torchlight played over them. In the center of the door was a series of symbols arranged in a circular pattern, each symbol linked by lines and arrows. "It reveals what we hide, even from ourselves. What we saw here is no accident, no trick or magic gone wrong." She paused, her eyes boring into mine.
