SILVER IN THE SHADOWS

SILVER IN THE SHADOWS

And then, silence. A scream shattered the dusk. Not Ridge. Not Luna. Something inhuman. They came from the trees—figures cloaked in rot and shadows, twisted armor etched with claws and blood-writ glyphs. Hollow pack. Their stench struck first—metal turned sour, flesh long spoiled. Trisha moved before command was called. Her axe unslung in one motion, she veered left into the shadows where screams grew sharper. Serin roared, “West line! Fall to the crest!” even as Ridge archers loosed arrows overhead.

Darkness

Darkness

I nodded. She disintegrated into shadows in front of me. The black blood splattered across the bed disappeared. I was starting to realize that the difference in realm meant they were made of different stuff than this world: different matter, different energy. We could interact physically, but the rest of it was like it was in a different phase. I pushed all the physics thoughts aside and focused on the real problem. Kezia was still missing. Sandriel was out there fighting shadow creatures. The darkness was still waiting for me. Amy was gone.

Gifted Shadows

Gifted Shadows

It was quiet for a few minutes and he finally said, “Tilly and I have absolutely no secrets. People like you and me … we can’t be with just anyone. It’s either one night stands, fake short term relationships or nothing. You don’t just find a Tilly on every corner. A woman that will accept you, that if you are totally honest with her … won’t be afraid of you. I never had someone to … to help me. To direct me, and it damn near killed me. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I call it my dark shadow … it’s a part of me, but it’s a part of me I can mostly keep hidden, that I can control.

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.

Shadowbound Flame

Shadowbound Flame

The shadows at the edges of the runes shivered like they were tasting the air for blood, for fear, for dominance. Sierra clenched her fists, fingers grazing the chalk. She whispered the trigger phrase, her voice tight, sharp. A flicker of silver sparked at her fingertips—but it was wilder than usual. The shadows responded instantly, snaking higher, twisting faster than she expected. Her anger, her jealousy, her protectiveness over Malick—it all fed the spell, amplifying it beyond the controlled parameters she’d intended.

LUNAR BONDS

LUNAR BONDS

The Shadow Lord had used his dark magic to escape, leaving only chaos and devastation in his wake. As Amelia stood amidst the wreckage, her gaze fell upon a faint trail of eerie, green mist leading deeper into the cavern. It was a sign, a glimmer of hope that the Shadow Lord had left a trace of his presence behind. With a newfound determination, she followed the trail, her senses heightened, and her instincts guided her every step.

 UNWED AND EXPECTING

UNWED AND EXPECTING

“You’re from the Order of Light.” Alaric nodded. “I’ve been watching from afar, but the bond has grown fragile. The shadows are closing in, and time is running out.” “What do you mean?” Clara asked, her voice trembling. Alaric’s expression softened. “The Keeper’s bond is not just a connection between people. It’s the very essence that holds this world together. If it breaks, the shadows won’t just consume you—they’ll consume everything.” Alaric explained that the shadows could only be defeated by confronting them directly in the Void, a place between worlds where light and darkness collided. But entering the Void was dangerous, and only the Keeper could withstand its pull.

Maid For The Ruthless Lycan king

Maid For The Ruthless Lycan king

AURORA'S POV The shadows twisted around me, thick and suffocating, as I fell to my knees. My hands pressed into the cold black ground, trembling with exhaustion and rage. “Ancestors,” I breathed, my voice cracking. “Help me. Please!” A sudden pulse of power surged through the Shadow Realm. The earth beneath me split with a deafening crack. From the fissures, skeletal hands clawed their way upward, followed by pale figures cloaked in black mist. One by one, they emerged—a legion of vampires, their eyes glowing crimson like dying embers.

The Pretty Prince and the Beast King

The Pretty Prince and the Beast King

The Overseer stood there, a towering shadow of madness. "You think you can hold me, boy?" the shadow hissed, its voice the sound of a thousand crashing servers. "I am the logic of this world!" "You're a ghost in a machine that’s already dead!" Aradaa shouted. The shadow lunged. Aradaa didn't fight back with code. He fought with the only thing the Architect couldn't simulate. He reached for a memory. Kaelor. The smell of the shifter’s skin. The weight of his body. The salt of their sweat.
