POV. Isabella Di’Giotanno. We leave the pack house and outside I see a black Bentley Bacalar parked. I stand still, looking at the car with my mouth open. Alec stops, turns, and says to me. “What is it, dear? Is there something wrong?” “Is this your car?” “Well, yes. Is there anything wrong with it?” “Hum… no, I just didn’t expect to get into such an exclusive car.” “My dear, I am the Supreme Crown Prince. Of course, I’ll drive cars like these. So, get used to it honey, because you will be the next Supreme Queen.”

I was given another crown, an old one from Alethar’s era; they didn’t want me to have calluses on my forehead. A new one, fitted for me, would have to wait. The crown I was wearing was very simple: just a thin band with three tines, black metal, gray stones. It was lovely. It wasn’t your vulgar gold, Rudolph would never have worn it. And probably because it was too simple-looking, Abigail’s family had never snatched it either. Or maybe they hadn’t dared to? Nah, it was the first. Password was Alexander’s birthday.” Inside were photos. Hundreds of them. I opened the file he sent. The album was titled: My Knight. The most recent post was dated two days ago. He said this crown belongs only to me. Just like him. Next week’s family dinner—he promised to give me a name. The image showed an exquisite bridal crown— diamonds and sapphires set in a constellation pattern.

Cein giggled at the look on her face and he walked out of his hiding place. “Very funny,” the redhead snorted and picked up the book from the floor. She read the title and realized it wasn't what she sought. She placed it back in its position and grabbed the next book but suddenly, Cein was in front of her, smiling wide and large, just like the glasses on his face. Reyna ignored him with a tsk. She wondered why the brothers chose to embarrass themselves with these glasses when they did not need them. Werewolves have sharp senses; it was like insulting the moon goddess's intelligence by using those human tools.

Kael protested. "You need titles for formal occasions," she insisted. "Traditional or innovative?" Through the bond, we considered. "The Broken Crown," Lyra said suddenly. "That is what we are. Five pieces of what should be singular authority, shattered and reformed into something new." Silence. Then slow nods. "The Broken Crown," Queen Elara repeated, testing the phrase. "The Council of Five, known as the Broken Crown. I approve." She stood, and the Court stood with her.

Beside them stood a boy dressed in a blue formal suit. That was Benjamin. He looked like a proud peacock, basking in everyone's attention and well-wishes. Mom personally placed an exquisite diamond crown on his head and said gently, "Ben, today you're our most precious little prince." Dad handed him a velvet box containing a dazzling diamond watch. "Do you like it? I had it custom-made just for you." Benjamin smiled sweetly. "Thank you, Mr. Blake and Mrs. Blake. You are so good to me."

Bennett The coronation had come to an end. I was officially the heir to the Wolf Crest Park. The weight of the crown pressed into my scalp and I couldn't wait to get to my room and yank it, along with the robes that hugged me so tightly. Shouts of ‘Congratulations’ echoed around me, and I should have felt proud. The youngest Alpha heir officially named under the full moon. But all I could feel was the way my skin itched as if something was about to go horribly wrong.

As she continued, her eyes landed on the man who's besides her. She saw the crown prince leaning on the wall in the window, he's holding a book that in seconds will fall to the ground and he's sleeping. She removed the comforter on her and gently moved her feet out of the bed. She notices that she's wearing a white sleeping dress, it's not a big deal who changes her clothes because she knows that Deimos will never do that. She stood up carefully not to wake Deimos up and get the books he's holding. She tiptoed towards him, she extended her hand and she was about to get the book when it was too late because the book had already fallen.

"Hello, princess." His smug voice shocks me to my core. Alec's body lays over mine and his stupid smirk is already there, adorning his stupid face. With wide eyes, I say, "Alec? What are you doing here?" Curiosity hits me. Plus lots of shock. He pushes my sweaty hair strands aside and grins. He takes the crown and gets up. He offers me his hand but I push it aside and stand up on my own. "Alec. Hand me the crown." Tobias grins, as if knowing already that he has won.
