He’s wearing a navy blue shirt, sleeves rolled neatly up to his elbows. His hair is taller than I remember from the last time I saw him on campus—dark blond, almost caramel under the light. His sharp jawline catches the sunlight streaming through the blinds. He looks young—and handsome too. He had a face of a model and not a high school substitute teacher. The stares I received outside were nothing compared to the stares I received from the crowd of people in the large room as I walked down the carpeted aisle.
