Head of the warlock council, son of the covenant leader Constantine Bathory.... and your betrothed".

"You're... covered in blood?" "Yeah," Alexander said with a small chuckle as he whipped the sword in the air, clearing the blood from the edge. "I had to kill the rogues. I couldn't let them warn the others of our coming." "Kill the rogues?" I muttered as I slowly turned my head to the filled. My hands cupped my mouth as I let out a soft gasp. At the center, almost hidden in the tall grass, were the bodies of the rogues that I had seen earlier, their bloodied sack laying by their butchered corpse.

It's been over three years since that decree was made, and Alexander has yet to find his mate. But what he lacked in companionship, he made up for in strength and stamina. He was good with his sword, better with his fist, and a nightmare with his wolf nature. A warrior charged toward him with all his might, attempting to hit him with the sword in his hand. Another man charged toward him in anger, running with all his might, but unfortunately, he missed his chance as a swipe from Alex's sword sent his head flying from the rest of his body.

He grabbed the hilt of his sword, and glared at me. "Now, leave." He said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Please.... ALEXANDROS." I drawled, emphasizing on his name and everything went still.

He knew that persuading Lily Moon was futile, so he shifted his attention to Sebastian. "Junior Brother Sebastian, it's good that you want to help Junior Sister. I appreciate it, but unfortunately, your cultivation is still shallow. If you go, you won't be of any help to Junior Sister; instead, you might cause trouble. It's better to consider it carefully." At this point, Alexander waved his hand, and a green sword appeared in his hand. "This sword is called the Pure Yang Meridian Sword, a mysterious-grade treasure sword that I used when I built the foundation. As long as Junior Brother Sebastian promises not to cause trouble, I will give this sword to you."

Bang. Wasn't this the part where I would die? After a while, my eyes fluttered open, my gaze shifting to the limb body of the masked man on my feet, in his own pool of blood. Dexter stepped out from the shadows, lowering his gun.

Alpha Maximus and I approach him, 'Congratulations, Alex,' we say to him. Alex is speechless, staring down at the sweet little bundle. 'So, is it a boy or a girl?' I ask. 'I’m not sure,’ he laughs. He opens the blanket to check. 'It's a boy! It's a boy!' he says happily. We’re so happy for him. Then Doctor Matlin walks over to us, 'I'm so sorry, Alex.' he whispers. 'Don't you mean congratulations?' Alex says with confusion. 'Bella is gone, I'm sorry, but she didn't survive the birth,' he says sadly.
