I didn't have the first clue and a small whine escaped from me as I tried to figure it out. Derek understood my dilemma, "Just relax, take a deep breath, and concentrate hard on being human. The magic should do it automatically." I took a deep breath and tried to picture myself as I looked in the mirror. I put all my will into that thought and concentrated on becoming human. It took me a long moment, but I felt the world begin to melt and shimmer around me. I ended up crouched on the table completely naked.

Her eyes met mine, and I could see the guilt etched across her face. "Sit down, Ethan," she said softly, gesturing to the couch. I complied, my heart heavy with anticipation. She began her story, her voice trembling with emotion. "I found myself in a hypnotic trance, Ethan. I don't know how it happened, but I woke up in the arms of Alpha Roger, the Wizard. It was as if I was under a spell, unable to resist his advances." My heart sank as I listened, the pieces of the puzzle falling into place. The magician had used his powers to manipulate Aline, to control her actions. My jealousy and doubts had been fueled by dark magic.

Not bad for a mere human.” Alphonse grinned as he watches Sabrina shooting light from the palm of her finger. It was an unusual sight to be seen, an ordinary woman mastering the art of basic magic in such short period of time. “I guess I can say I learnt from the best.” She smiled, complimenting Alphonse in between floating. Those were the two tricks she knew. The first was floating, going against gravitation and the second one was shooting light.

"What?" "I said, are you ready for your magic lesson? Or are you too busy daydreaming about a certain alpha?" His eyes danced with mischief. Heat flooded my face. "I don't know what you're talking about." "Sure you don't. Come on, I've got something to show you." The garage was Theo's domain—half workshop, half organized chaos. He'd set up a workbench covered in wires, tools, and what looked like crystals. "Magic is like mechanics," he explained, holding up a circuit board. "It needs a path, a channel. Right now, your magic is like this." He flipped a switch and sparks flew everywhere. "Uncontrolled. Dangerous."

We had understood then that the more magic I expended, the more white my hairs become. I shrugged my shoulders at Laura's question. I was as ready as I'll ever be. The past two days had been spent honing my magic, and stabilizing my center. Peter and Laura were good teachers. Levina and Diana had thrown in their weight too in the best way they could. Levina had gone as far as bringing one of her father's spell books, for my usage. Principal Lethon hadn't cared though. He had actually wished me the best. "All contestants should move forward to the seats designated for them. The contest begins in five minutes."

Rita The hall buzzed with energy as students gathered for their first practical magic class. The space, usually reserved for assemblies, had been transformed—circles of salt and herbs marked workstations, and the air hummed with the residue of old spells. Rita stood beside Freda, watching as the instructor—a stout witch with silver-streaked braids—demonstrated a basic energy channeling exercise. "Focus on the earth beneath you," the teacher intoned. "Draw its power, but do not force it. Let it rise naturally."

Alice said with sincerity. Arthur heaved a sigh. “You think that the formula Olga created to make the cream you put on your face daily is of magic? What happened to science?” “I’m not talking about the cream or any of the other scientific things that she does,” Alice explained. “It’s the other stuff. She’s been teaching Kendra some of her spells for when we go to the surface. I watched Kendra levitate a few rocks the other day. It was a bit unnerving.”

There is little of information about her though, since she's new to their world, and they don't know that. "This report of yours have little data about her." The elf stated. "Ignore such nonsense. I want you to kill her right away." the hooded man commanded seriously before walking away. "Got it." the elf simply responded, "This will be easy." Meanwhile, Mayari and Helen are in the garden. This is the first day of Mayari's magic lesson. "Let's start with the element water." Helen announced, "Water magic is easy to learn and is less destructive."

I say to her. Nodding, she says “ Ah” Thirty minutes later Cohen lets me know that the council members are here, with I signal for the guys to get the Alpha while I keep my eyes on him I still feel like something is wrong with him, and my concern was confirmed when we locked eyes across the woods, his were pure black and have no life in them. “ We need your mother, “ I whisper to Hermione. “ Why?” she asked while keeping her eye on Alpha Nathan. “ I believe that he has something magic going on” She didn't seem to understand what I was saying “Look at his eyes” When she did, she turned towards me and said, “No, how?”

he asked mockingly. "Xavier, how is it possible?" his aunt's voice instantly put him on alert. Even Sebastian sat up straighter. "What happened?" the Alpha King asked. "The magical spell I had cast on the library, the section that comprises books about our Kind has been breached... by a human girl."
