I hit the ground and groaned but forced myself back to my feet, assuming a defensive stance. Jeffrey used the same magic again, freezing my powers. Sil said with her mouth full of cookie bits. “Yes.” “So, this place is magical?” I asked trying to piece things together. “Don’t be silly. It’s just glamour. A trick to human eyes.” “Please, by all means, call us humans even if you’re not one of us.” I told her sarcastically. “People then. If you prefer it that way.” She said catching on my sarcasm. Sill tried to hide her smile but I saw it. “Daylight, I don’t know you but seeing that my brother has I’m guessing he met you in one of his hysterical dreams.” She stood. Daylight looked at her.

It was Mizrabel's. My pulse pounded angrily. She was coercing Sera into performing black magic, and it was obvious she wasn't completely on board. Perhaps I could talk some sense into her. I'd used a spell to make Mizrabel disappear once before, I could do it again. I even remembered the words. Rolling back my shoulders, I stepped into the room. "Sera," I said, sounding deceptively calm. She gasped, spinning to face me, a jolt of magic shooting from her hands.

His words echo. I shake my head and try to get to my feet. "They used a blocking spell on him. It will take a while for him to pull himself together. He is drunk on the magic they used," Libby says. Alpha Mayhem pulls me to my feet, but my knees buckle. Alpha Mayhem leads me over to a chair in the kitchen.

Sage held onto her as she seemed to go into convulsions. "Alpha efferson!" Sage yelled. "What’s going on—" Jefferson’s spine bowed backward, and the bowl flew from his hands to land a distance away, shattering on the marble floor. Sage pulled Sophie into his arms, saying her name over and over, his heart beating hard enough that he could hear it in his ears. She opened her eyes and smiled up at him. "It’s gone, and I still have my magic." Jefferson struggled to his feet, rubbing his chest. "It was successful." He sounded incredibly relieved.

They all went home. Alex,when he got home, picked up the book he bought from the store, 'dark practices of magic'. As he opened the book and starts reading it, he begins to learn a lot from magic stances up to spells. For the stances, Alex loves it and even practiced some of it but for the spells, Alex find difficult to use. Each time he tries to cast a spell, he feels an opposite movement of power and the spell won't work. Alex told himself maybe spells casting is not his thing and keeps practicing. As Almond has told him, he has to be more powerful to take control as an alpha in this realm.

I attacked again and she immediately fought back while the old Mage just kept staring and watching us. "Stop this, please" the woman added. "Phoebe!!" the old mage shouted. "He's not on our side!!, he killed all the monsters in this land... He deserves to die!." The woman did not listen to what the mage said... in my next attack she caught my hand and quickly grabbed my sword and thrust it into my back with the sword on fire. "Well done Phoebe, I never doubted you" the mage had a smirk on his lips as he uttered those words.

I was in the back most of the crowd so they were all looking back to me. I said and stated, “It wasn’t me” I even shook my head to intensify my disagreement. I was sure that it wasn’t me. I can control my power and I was sure I did not do that. “It was you! What the heck? That wasn’t funny” we all looked at the mirror magic and the voice magic. The mirror magic can let us see thing in bigger image and the voice magic is used so we can hear whoever is using that. The Exam Master’s magic is sound and mirror magic. He has two magic.

Damian tried to deny it. I raised my right hand and began to chant an ancient spell. "Let time rewind." Golden light formed a massive magical screen in the center of the hall. Damian and Isla's conversation in the secret room played out for everyone to see: "Her power is too great. We need to find a way to take it." "A bloodline curse is the only way.
