Adolphus growled as a great wind from his mouth scattered Philip's hair in different directions. "I will tell you" Philip spoke out with full assurance, "At the center of the third kingdom, deep in it's woods, there is a tall tree with leaves. Push the tree aside and a path will be opened to you and to get to the kingdom of Anedo, pass through the first tunnel you see" he gulped down harder, " I swear, that is the way" he contended in fright.

I get dressed in the clothes that Alice has picked out for me and make myself presentable in the bathroom before following her to the library. Alice opens the heavy wooden door to the library. Inside, at one of the desks, sits a skinny man with balding brown hair. He’s hunched over a book and doesn’t seem to notice at first as I approach, but as I come closer he suddenly speaks. “Good morning,” he says, turning the page in his book. I look down to see that the book is open to an illustrated page that depicts a Bear and a Swan fighting. The top of the page reads ‘The Final Summit’.

Mother Annabelle cries, her voice trembling with emotion. A tiny figure steps in front of him, her muddy hands gripping onto his neatly ironed trousers. It's Alice, a cute 4-year-old girl whose parents had abandoned her. She must have been playing sandcastles before seeing him. "Uncwe! Uncwe!" she cries, tugging at his trousers. Lorenzo looks down at her, and for a moment, I see his eyes soften. He stares at her for a few seconds before shaking his head, as if trying to shake off thoughts.

I wasn't very reluctant about leaving my mate's side, but eventually I left knowing that I had to know what that is. We were now all gathered in the living room with my dad. He came after hearing my mate's screams. Jake's mate and other pack members that lived with us came too but we dismissed most of them. Now it was only me, my parents, Alexis of course, with her magic book, Chloe, Jake and the twins. Alexis kept on flipping the pages and I started getting impatient. "Ah...here it is." She started as she looked at a page that had a picture of a person standing there with tails similar to the one that my mate had, only difference is that he had 9.

“Mommy said I can get whatever I want!” Alice laughed as she slipped on her jacket. “Did she now? Well, we’re going to have a lot of fun spoiling you, then.” Amara grinned wide, already envisioning the mountains of toys and dresses she would collect. “I’m gonna get all the toys, Auntie Alice! And maybe a unicorn!” “Well, let’s see what we can find,” Alice said, smiling down at her favorite little niece, the one who had everyone in the pack wrapped around her finger. “Maybe we can find a sparkly unicorn.”

Laura POV I leave Luther and walk back to our small castle in the middle of the fairy tribe lands. The small tinks follow me and tease me as I walk back to tell my parents about the invites. "Did you kiss him, Laura?" one of the tinks jokes with me. "Go away!" I scream at the annoying little creature.

Alice gave me a sly smile. Alice walked over to the row of dresses and grabbed a light blue summer dress with small flower details. To go with it, she selected a simple pair of flats that were clearly too big for me. Alice asked if I was going to look for something but I declined preferring the jeans that were in the dresser. After Alice explained that the screen in the wall was to talk to people outside of the room incase I needed it at anytime and that there was food in a compartment under the bed, we left the closet and Alice headed back down the hall.

Don't keep your Alpha waiting. —Killian Faith dropped the note against her chest, a radiant, helpless smile breaking across her face. She looked down at the large box, carefully lifting the lid. Inside, wrapped in soft tissue paper, was the most stunning dinner gown she had ever seen—a deep, emerald-green silk dress that felt like liquid ice against her fingers, designed perfectly to fit her form.

Alice said with a smirk. They were led inside the mansion. It was so big. Maids were all around. Some who were vampires bared their fangs at them. A silent promise to rip off their throats. Some stared at the twins in confusion. Of course they probably had an issue identifying them. "Yeah! We're duplicates!" Alice said proudly, shining her perfect white teeth as she passed by a confused maid. "Quiet!" The warrior walking behind her said and kicked her knee from behind. She kept quiet.

Wait a minute. Was the floor always so far away? My feet are dangling above the floorboards from the victorian chair, and my dress reaches further down my legs. Did I shrink? "Did the Teardrops Of Alice taste well in your tea?" Jenna asks while the twins are trying not to laugh. "I bought some from the witch working inside the castle, and then I poured it into your tea—you have forty-eight hours of fun ahead of you." I stare at her with widening eyes. "Teardrops Of Alice?!"
