Blaze's POV "Blaze, if you can't find your Luna, then we need to find somebody new for an alpha," Keahi snarled. Finding a luna was tough. Being with someone I don't love is not something I want. Agni, who consented to arrange marriages, was not me. "I will find my Luna, just give me more time," I responded. "Time? It's been three years! Just marry Brigid, goddamn it!" Keahi yelled.

She was just caught in the middle. “Last I checked, the Luna is the wife of the Alpha, and a beta is someone that serves the Alpha. So if I am the Alpha, then that should mean that she is my wife and you serve me.” His eyes held mine, and his smirk grew wider. The urge to smack it off his face overwhelmed me, but I knew it would only upset Selena, so I held myself back. “That’s enough, Lucian. I was on my way there, and I would have joined you even if you didn’t come up here.” Selena chipped in and tried to get Lucian to turn around and walk away, but he just wouldn’t.

“SILENCE,” I command out. And the room goes quiet. I noticed Liv stood up too. But not to come over to my side. She left the small stage and walked towards the Alpha that had forced his Luna down. When she gets over to them, Liv Squats down and looks at the Luna, who can not be much older than herself. “Are you okay?” her sense her asking. But the Luna doesn’t answer or look up, and Liv stands up, looking at the standing Alpha.

With her head held high and a furious glint in her eyes, Stella replied with gritted teeth, “Stopping you!” Her voice remained civil, but looking closer it could be seen that she was shaking with anger. Her hands were fiercely fisted on the side of her dress. “Do you wanna die?” Luke scolded Stella. “Didn’t you fear that I might have killed you? As a princess, and the future Luna of the Dark Moon pack, how dare you put yourself in danger?” I knew Luke wasn't kidding. Although he was old, an Alpha is an Alpha. Glancing at Ralph, Luke looked enlightened and let out a mocking sneer. “And for what? For this lowly omega?”

Stella introduced. Lucia’s eyes scanned me, then Stella. “Ahhh…” Lucia said almost dismissively. To save Stella’s face, I quickly introduced myself. “I am Alaric Monroe,” I said, stretching my hand forward. “Lucia Alden,” she said, taking my hand. She smirked seductively, eyeing me. What the hell is happening?

His voice was hesitant. “We killed him for you, no worries…” He cleared his throat. “But Angelica… we were two seconds too late. I’m sorry. We all are, right, guys?” The others chimed in, murmuring their condolences. The dark-haired man with intense eyes spoke again. “I’m Alpha Brandon the Foundation representative from the Morgenlicht Kunsthaus foundation, remember? This is Luke, my beta. That hot head girl over there is Amanda—she’s part of our pack. Marc and the others… and her,” he gestured to the old woman next to me, “the witch Walda of the Berliner Dome.”

Lorna shot back, her eyes challenging, locked on Gideon's. "Lorna, stop!" The calm and authoritative voice of Avla floated down from the staircase. She appeared at the top of the stairs, her eyes wide but her demeanor controlled. Lorna's face transformed from anger to astonishment. "Avla? Is that really you?" she stammered, her eyes fixed on the distinctive Luna mark. "But you were just seventeen and so... so different!" Avla smiled and descended the stairs, her grace evident in every step. "I know, Lorna, it's a big change. Come on, we have a lot to talk about."

The warm welcome from her made my shoulders relax, and some of the tension eased. “Meet Calista, our Luna,” Luke told me, and I smiled at her. Then he turned to a man who had come to stand beside her.” And this is Alpha Jaxon.” Then a man appeared, towering, stoic, his arms folded across his broad chest. I assume he is the alpha as he came to stand close to his wife. His dark eyes studied me for a moment, and I stiffened a little under the weight of his gaze. But then he gave a slow nod.

“But your eyes—” “Just temporary blindness,” I said softly. “The doctor said it’ll heal.” I brushed the tears under her eyes and turned my attention to Brianna. I’d never seen her before. She must have joined Silvercrest after I fell into the coma. She stared at me with stiff shoulders and trembling legs. After a few seconds, she forced a nervous smile. “Clara—” “It’s Luna to you.” I growled, “Kneel.” The color drained from her face. Under the weight of my Luna’s voice, her knees buckled awkwardly.

I have only met with bad lucks since I met you, so I don't want to have anything to do with you anymore." "You have always wanted to go away right? Now I will end everything." I sniffled the tears that wanted to fall, I always wanted to leave but I did hope that somehow, he might come to love me. Maybe happiness was no where close to what fate had in store for me. "On this day, I, Alpha Alexander Lancaster, break every ties that I have had with you and I am freeing you from the contract marriage." I could not control the tears anymore, and they rolled on my cheeks.
