Xander’s pov *What the hell are these things?!* I roar at Warren through our pack's mindlink. Brutus snaps its jaws with lethal precision, shredding the throat of the wolf-like creature before it can pounce. The black, foul-smelling blood splatters across my blonde fur as I kick its limp body to the dirt, my chest heaving from the adrenaline surge. *I don't have a damn clue, Xander!* Warren says. *Do you think these freakish abominations belong to your uncle?*

For heaven's sake, he'd gone through a lot of hell, finally landing a reward and this damn system was trying to terminate it. "I'll accept it", he snapped, stretching out his hands, his fingertips lightly tapping on the Yes button. His mouth hung open, his expression half astonished and half out of his wits. A small chuckle and my eyes fly open as I realise where I am and who I’m with. “You like that little one?” His deep voice sends a shiver down my spine and it plants itself in my core increasing my need to ease the tingling and I give an involuntary gasp. His deep purple eyes are looking straight into mine capturing me and I lose all sense of what is going on. Again I feel the touch at my core, pressing, rubbing. It feels so good and I moan, but then my brain springs into action and I hastily push away from Lazarus. Kneeling on the bed with some distance to this devilishly handsome and extremely sexy alien and I feel my face go red with embarrassment and anger.

It felt awkward as she stared at me like she was trying to read me—like she could see into my soul.

“But , but I am not slee – “ I am disturbed as my mouth opens up and releases a deep yawn. I hear his angelic voice chuckle , his chest vibrating. “I will wake you up when we get to your father’s kingdom…” I feel the warmth of his chest engulf me in a space of peace and absolute comfort – with in no time I felt my eyes shut softly , and I started to love deeper and deeper into a slumber while listening to the gentle beats of Xavier’s heart. Alison's POV The first thing I noticed was the ache... a deep, throbbing soreness in my private area, I hadn’t known it could ache. My body felt heavier, lazier, as if it had finally surrendered to a profound exhaustion. I stretched carefully, the cool sheets brushing against my bare skin, and turned my head to the side. There he was, Xander, the Alpha of Alphas, lying on his stomach with one arm draped over his pillow, his breathing steady, his face softened in sleep.

She asked. Xander looked over at Grey and smiled. "Grey and I have met long before he met you. We have a long history together, but, that is not what brought me here," he replied. Grey walked away from the bathroom door. "What brought you here then?" He inquired. "It's about Alyssa's thirteen sins in heaven and the apocalypse she has set in motion, as her moments with you had prolonged more than before," Xander explained with a serious look on his face.

I stilled as my eyes slowly went to the book and then back to Xander. I didn't bother explaining further, I quickly rushed to the shelf and pulled out the book as I handed it to Xander. “This is the Book of Alphas I found here.” I said and Xander just continued to stare at the book in his hand like he was in a trance. He didn't open it and I stood there looking at him wondering what was going on. “Xander, what is it?" I asked in curiosity. He turned away from me like he wanted to walk away but my hand quickly shot out and stopped him.
