It was a picture showing a guy holding the flag of a country - a country I wasn't sure I knew the name of - against his body. The middle of the flag, which was white was stained with the guy's blood. Haniya's caption for that photo was 'pray for Nigeria'.

What is happening today?” “What?” He answered in awe. “Are you new in town?” He further inquired. His question made me remember my driver again. “This is definitely Karma.” “Yes, I am. So tell me what today is.” I answered with clenched jaws. “It’s Alpha Kilhan’s birthday! The man who rules this town.
