She sighs "What if he finds out," I said "Then that means death for me" She shrugs "That's scary" I shook my head opening the book "Rule no.1, do not look into his eyes when serving him or whenever you are with him" I read out loud "I can help you know," Nicole said taking the book from me before I can reject "Okay" I agreed since I know it may be a great chance for me to know the rules quick "You already read the first rule so I don't need to re-read it again," She said

He sat on the bed and gestured to Kana to do the same. "About that, I heard them talking. They said that there are two rules," "Rules?" Kana asked. "Yes, rules. The first rule is that those who wanted revenge will do what James did to them," Shion said. "What if James killed someone? They will kill him too?" Kana asked trying to analyze the rule. "Dada already filtered those things. That's the second rule, James must not die in the process. You can torture him but you can not kill him. I also heard that they are fixing him up after for the next torture," Shion relayed.

《SECOND CHANCE PROTOCOL ACTIVATED》 Survive the Trial. Find the True Lifeline. Failure = permanent erasure. My heart thudded so hard it hurt. “Who… who are you?” The voice continued calmly. 《RULES TO JOIN THE SURVIVAL GAMES》 Rule1: The road ahead is endless. Do not leave the truck no matter what. Rule 2: If you see yourself again do not look twice. Rule 3: If the lights go out, pray they come back. If they don’t come after 3 seconds… close your eyes and count to 10.

“I explained while laughing. First of all, I plan to use Hold Power to Death, do you remember our deal before we fight? Didn’t she say, Anyway, I have no choice because we have to fight an Arte Fight, and another rule that I must follow and that will benefit you? The rule is It’s simple, you can use any Enchantment, whereas when I use any Enchantment and Hold Power will automatically disqualify me and you will become the winner. Deal? “ Isn’t that the deal she said a while ago? Hahaha. “Ah that’s right, but thank you and I’m sorry for what I did before, you know I’m mad at the Supreme Beings.” She told me sadly, I was surprised because she said she was angry with the Supreme Beings, wait, I’

He took it from me with a smile. “Good job, flower. Now, recite the rules on the way home.” We began to head towards the house where I knew my mother would be waiting for us with sandwiches and chips. He eyed me sideways, waiting patiently. I walked silently for a moment. “Rule 1: the safety needs to be on when you are not actively hunting. Rule 2: Never aim at another person. Rule 3: Only kill what you have to, nothing more. Rule 4: Have respect for every living creature. If your shot doesn’t kill them, end their lives fast. Rule 5: Always shoot to kill.”

“Alpha Ronan. Alpha Keiran. Step forward.” Ronan rose smoothly, rolling his shoulders once like he was loosening a jacket. Keiran stepped forward too, jaw clenched, eyes still raw, his wolf practically vibrating under his skin. The elder lifted a hand. “The rules of this fight are plain,” she said. A scribe stepped forward and read from a parchment. “You are allowed to knock out your opponent,” the scribe announced. “You are not allowed to kill. You are not allowed to grievously injure.”

I turn the last page where the rules ends and boldly written is five most important rules to read over them again. I rest my back on my pillow and pull out my pen from the side of the file to asterisk each of them. Rule one: Obey your superior at all times. Rule two: Always be on time. Rule three: Adhere to every rule stated in the rule guide. Rule four: Be on your best behaviour/no rebellion. Rule tive: No cheating to get ahead. Cheaters will be automatically eliminated. I hope to follow these rules just like the others in the ten weeks of the trial.

Rocco asked. “I do not have any, Drav…” Draven glanced at him emotionlessly. “Do I look like I have one?” “Right. You only bring money,” Rocco said. “You will not take the quiz?” Ryder asked. “I will,” Draven replied flatly. “Um, do you guys need paper and pens?” a girl nearby offered. “Yes, we do,” Rocco said as he accepted the paper and pens. “Thanks,” Ryder said, winking at her. The girl blushed and quickly looked away.

"But tonight, I don't want to think about work. Tonight, I just want this. You." He pulls me close, and I let him. Tomorrow I will go back to reality. Tomorrow I will face the mess of my broken engagement and my shattered plans. But tonight, I am just Evelyn. Not someone's fiancée or someone's employee or someone's disappointment. Just Evelyn. I wake up to sunlight streaming through the windows and an empty bed. I sit up, disoriented, and spot a note on the pillow next to me. *I had to take a call. Coffee is in the kitchen. Help yourself to whatever you need. - R*

“Your failure to carry out this simple task shows that you are not fit for this mission. Hence, you will be withdrawn as soon as possible and other options will be considered.” ‘Options?’ Sweat broke out of my face, as I find it difficult to swallow saliva. My eyes traced its footsteps back to the second message sent a few minutes after the first one. The Second message reads: “never forget the three rules. Rule one: Focus is the name of the game, the end result is more important than anything else. Rule two: Your cover is more important than your life. Rule three: Obey the first and second rule.” I had to quickly locate the spot. I was lucky to come across a brown envelope, so I dipped my h
