“I don’t know what you’re up to, but whatever it is better be good,” Anna teased, raising an eyebrow.
Rhea chuckled softly. “It will be, I promise.”
She climbed in, and they drove through the town toward the nearest public library. The building was large and elegant, with arched windows and ivy creeping along its stone walls. It had an old, almost magical feel to it.
Inside, the air was thick with the scent of aged paper and ink. The space was vast, filled with tall wooden shelves that stretched from wall to wall, every inch lined with books.
